The youths of JILC-Bonbon participated in the running community called RunRico, organized by Coach Rico on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Through the invitation of Sister Gemma, many youths were given the opportunity to engage in healthy physical activities while learning the value of discipline and proper exercise.

During the training session, the participants learned proper running techniques such as maintaining good posture, proper breathing, and efficient movement while running. The activity helped them understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle while also building endurance and confidence. The session was both educational and enjoyable.

After the running activity, Sister Gemma invited everyone to have breakfast at Jollibee, where they shared meals, drank hot cocoa and coffee, and talked about God, Bible verses, and important life lessons. The gathering strengthened their friendship and faith, making the day meaningful and memorable for all.

Today, we pause to celebrate mothers and their sacred legacy.

Beloved Christ-centered mothers,

From your womb to our childhood, and until today, you have nurtured us with love and faith. You taught us to believe in God, to walk in integrity and righteousness — not just as lessons, but as a way of life. Through your countless loving deeds, you shaped our hearts. Because of you, we rise.

We are filled with gratitude to God for your prayers that covered us, your strength that carried us, and your life that sustained us.

And today, we call you blessed.

Not because life was perfect, but because God’s hand has been evident in your life. Your early mornings, quiet sacrifices, wise counsel, and diligent love have borne spiritual fruit that lives on in us. Here’s a simple reminder to every mother:

Your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

To every loving mother, thank you for giving your life to raise sons and daughters with utmost faithfulness.

Family has always been God’s first school of life. You nourish not only bodies but the hearts and minds of the young, guiding them about faith, character, devotion, and more.

In turn, children learn to recognize virtue
and they learn to honor goodness itself,
carrying that value into generations to come.

It is my prayer for you, dear mothers, that the Lord Himself will strengthen your hands and renew your joy, that He will satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation, and that your children will rise up and call you blessed.
