Today, the Church celebrates Pentecost Sunday, the fulfillment of Christ’s promise to send the Holy Spirit upon His disciples. Through the coming of the Holy Spirit, the apostles were strengthened in faith and sent forth to proclaim the Gospel to all nations.

The Lay Vocation Promoters’ General Assembly was successfully held at the SPCS Propaedeutic Community, Brgy. Pigdaulan, Butuan City together with the Director of the Commission on Vocations, Rev. Fr. Darwin Pagal.

The gathering became an opportunity to strengthen the mission of promoting and supporting vocations in the Church through the active participation and dedication of our Lay Vocation Promoters.

Their role remains important in encouraging and accompanying those who are discerning God’s call to the priesthood, religious life, and committed Christian service. Through their witness and service, many are inspired to listen more closely to the voice of the Lord.
