Filtered Love: Truth Over Trends

Last February 22, 2026, we were reminded that not everything labeled as “love” is rooted in truth. In a generation shaped by social media, viral relationship goals, and cultural pressure, love can easily become filtered — edited, aesthetic, and trend-driven.

But real love is not defined by popularity or public display. It is defined by truth.

True love must always be measured by the Word of God — not by the standards of the world (Romans 12:2; Psalms 119:105).

Before we label something as “love,” let’s filter it through truth — not through trends.
Because not every trend reflects truth.

Today, love is often shaped by social media, movies, and viral relationship goals. Because of videos and curated posts, love becomes filtered — edited, highlighted, and aesthetic.

We see the surprises.
We see the grand gestures.
We see the sweet captions.
But we don’t always see the compromise of values, the silent struggles, or the emotional cost behind the scenes.

True love is not measured by:
• how public it is
• how aesthetic it looks
• how many likes it gets
• how trendy it is according to influencers

Real love is rooted in God’s truth — 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬.
It is patient. (1 Corinthians 13:4)
It is pure. (Matthew 5:8)
It honors boundaries. (Proverbs 4:23)
It protects dignity. (1 Corinthians 13:5)
It does not rush what God says to guard. (Song of Songs 2:7)

Before we label something as “love,”
let’s filter it through truth — not through trends.

We are reminded that giving reflects trust in God, gratitude, and faithfulness. It is both an act of worship and a test of faith. Through faithful giving, we honor the Lord and open our hearts to His blessings.

✨ Worship & Healing Service | January 4, 2026 ✨

Yesterday, we experienced the powerful presence of God in our Worship and Healing Service with the Anointing of Oil. Through the message “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿” by Ptr. Rosalie, we were reminded that God is the Author of peace and has called us to live in peace.

🕊️ 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴, 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴.
🕊️ 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦.

We were encouraged to discern God’s leading:
𝐈𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩.
𝐈𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞.
𝐈𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭.

Today, God is offering breakthrough peace—not to be earned, but to be received and walked in.
