From today’s Sunday Service, it was emphasized that if a certain thing contradicts God’s words and does not glorify God, it surely is a deception.

So how could the church respond to every deception that may potentially arise inside the church as in 2 Peter 1-9? Bro. Bencent exhorts that the church must truly C.A.R.E:

Cautious in whatever we receive - 1 John 4:1

Accountable in how we live - Proverbs 27:17

Rooted in the Word - John 17:17

Engaged in our walk with God - James 1:22

In the heart of Sta. Cruz Manila de Bugabus, a group of children are spending their summer learning, growing, and dreaming at Vacation Bible School (VBS). As they prepare for their graduation this May 2, 2026, we want to ensure they are fully prepared for the next chapter of their journey.

For many families in the community, the approaching school year brings the quiet worry of how to afford essential learning tools. We believe that every child deserves to walk into their classroom with everything they need to thrive from day one.

Your pledge of ₱500 provides a complete, quality set of school supplies for one student. It is more than just paper and pens; it is a message to a child that their education matters and that their community is rooting for them.

In the past few days this week, we have encountered God’s love, grace and mercy as manisfested in the strength He extended to sustain us! It is such a great joy to celebrate His goodness and faithfulness in the many platforms and ministry areas He has given and entrusted us.

We would want to invite you in these gatherings! Feel free to come and join us! Agape Butuan has weekly conduct of discipleship through our Agape Communities (ACs), Friday Prayer Gathering, Once a quarter Couples’ Fellowship and Sunday Services!

Join us this Friday for a corporate prayer and fasting and study on Jesus' seven (7) last words.

Commit to a fast of your choice (food, social media, or specific habits) anytime on Friday, April 3, and let’s gather together at the Agape Butuan church for a culmination of our fast and prayer:

At 1PM - Initial gathering for worship, prayer and fasting in the church.

At 4:30PM - Deep dive into the 7 Last Words of Jesus (Bible Study). Spontaneous intercession to follow after.

We look forward to seeing everyone this Friday. Let us pray and seek His face together!
