Let us welcome the new members of the Association of Children of Mary Immaculate in the Diocese of Butuan who received their Miraculous Medals today, during the mass presided by Rev. Fr. Dirk Sanchez, in celebration of the 42nd Founding Anniversary of the Association of the Children of Mary Immaculate in the Nuestra Seรฑora del Rosario Parish at Magallanes, Agusan del Norte.

Present were also the diocesan formators, Kuya James, Kuya Andrew, Ate Mercy, and Ate Cristy.

Today we honor Mary, conceived without sin, chosen in pure grace from the very beginning. Her โ€œyesโ€ opened the way for our Savior and continues to inspire us toward faith, humility, and trust. May the Immaculate Mother guide our hearts closer to Jesus and protect our families with her loving intercession.

Earlier today, June 20, 2025, in celebration of the 195th Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady to Saint Catherine Laboure and the association's anniversary, the Saint Joseph Cathedral Unit of the Association of the Children of Mary Immaculate of the Diocese of Butuan conducted an outreach program at the San Roque Chapel, Bit-os, Butuan City.

The association prepared a small program and a little salo-salo with the parishioners. They also introduced a brief history of the association and the wonders of the Miraculous Medal. They gave school supplies to the children in preparation for the incoming school year. We thank the chapel of San Roque and the whole community for the warm welcome!

Living with the virtues of Mama Mary, we will continue to be a blessing to others.

"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant..." (The Magnificat)

After getting the word from the Angel Gabriel, Mary quickly went to see her cousin Elizabeth. She brought comfort and love with her, as well as the fact that Christ was already inside her womb, their meeting is a beautiful encounter between two faithful women, filled with the Holy Spirit, where Elizabeth proclaims Mary as 'blessed among women,' and Mary responds with her Magnificatโ€”a hymn of praise to God's mercy and greatness.

May today's feast may remind us of the power of service, the beauty in humility, and to carry Jesus Christ to others in every action we do. May we follow the Blessed Mother's way of living a life in faith, love, and bringing the presence of Christ to everyone we meet.
