𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦

Joshua 1:8 says:
“So that you may be careful to do everything written in it.”

Notice the progression:
Speak it. Meditate on it. Do it.

This is very important.

Because the purpose of God's Word is not simply information. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

God doesn't want us to become people who know many Bible verses but refuse to obey them.

The Bible is not merely a book to increase our knowledge. It is God's instruction for our life.

Joshua 1:8
"Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."

God didn't merely tell Joshua to read the Word.

He told him to meditate on it.

There is a difference between reading God's Word and 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

You can read the Bible 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.
You can finish a chapter and 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲.
You can attend church every week and 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆.
You can hear preaching and 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱.

Because God's Word doesn't simply tell us what God has done. It teaches us how to live today.

Joshua 1:8
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips…”

And when you don't know what tomorrow holds, you need the Word of the One who already knows tomorrow.

When you don't know what to do: 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
When you're facing a difficult decision: 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
When you're discouraged: 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
When you're tempted: 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
When you're afraid: 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
When you don't understand what God is doing: 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.

Don't build your life on what the world is saying.

Because when everything else becomes uncertain, 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻.

When everything else becomes noisy,
𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿.

When everything else begins to shake,
𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺.

And when you don't know what to hold onto anymore—𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.

Because heaven and earth will pass away, but 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆.

Imagine waking up tomorrow.
Before Facebook—we face the Book —
𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.
Before TikTok— we first hear GodTok—
𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱.

Before believing what your feelings are telling you—
go back to what God said.

𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿.

𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏 | 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐅 𝐆𝐎𝐃’𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄?
What a powerful time in God’s presence yesterday! We were reminded that before we listen to the noise of the world, we need to listen to the voice of God through His Word.

The message challenged us to make God’s Word our first voice—before checking social media, before listening to opinions, before making decisions, and even before responding to our emotions, we should first ask, “What does God say? ”

People change. Feelings change. Culture changes. Circumstances change. But the Word of God remains forever. When everything around us becomes uncertain, His Word remains certain. When life becomes noisy, His Word remains clear. And when everything begins to shake, His Word remains firm.

𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱.

May we become a generation that doesn't just hear God's Word on Sundays but lives by it every day. And as we follow His Word, may we also believe that we will see greater things than what we have experienced before.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞?

“The food that we eat makes us as who we are.”

Joshua 1:8 reminds us that God’s Word is not meant to be something we read occasionally—it is something we meditate on, carry with us, and live out daily.

What we continually feed our minds and hearts will shape the way we think, speak, and live. When we fill ourselves with God’s Word, it begins to guide our choices, strengthen our faith, and shape our character.

Be intentional about what you consume.
Feed your spirit with the Word.
Live it. Meditate on it. Let it shape you.

Because what you feed today will shape who you become tomorrow.

𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏. 𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆.

Last Sunday, we were reminded: Don’t stop too soon.
When there are still arrows in your hand, keep striking. When God has given you an instruction, keep obeying. When you feel weak, remain faithful.

And tomorrow, we continue that journey.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

Serving God isn't a decision we make only when things are easy. It is a commitment to keep choosing Him, keep obeying Him, and keep standing with Him as individuals and as a family.

Come ready to worship, connect, and celebrate what God is doing in our lives and in our cells.
