To my beloved pastor Nonilo, teacher, and friend,
It is hard to put into words the depth of gratitude I feel for your life and ministry. You were more than a pastor — you were a faithful shepherd of souls, a teacher of truth, and, for me personally, the one through whom Christ made Himself known.
Through your love for the gospel and the Scriptures, you opened my eyes to the beauty of Christ. You led me to the cross not just with your words, but with your life — a life marked by grace, and a deep reverence for God’s Word.
You loved the Lord with a sincere heart, and that love overflowed into everything you did. You didn't seek applause; you sought faithfulness. And in doing so, you shaped lives — including mine — in ways that will echo into eternity.
My family loved and respected you dearly. You were a constant encouragement to us, and your presence in our lives was a gift. We thank God for the time we had with you, and for the way you modeled Christ so clearly.
Your legacy is not in titles or accomplishments, but in the lives you've touched — in every person who came to know Jesus more deeply because of your love of Christ.
Thank you for loving Christ. Thank you for loving the Word. And thank you for loving us.
We look forward to the day when we will worship our Savior together again — face to face, in glory.
