"I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
Ephesians 3:16-19 NLT
Some of us may have thought at some deep point on our life that God is not enough - just because our life is not what we pictured. And if we realize it, this is because we may have not been surrendering to the will of God and we want to make our life the way we want to be. And then we may have though that God does not love us because we are only experiencing sufferings and challenges.
However, if we trust in God, His glorious, unlimited resources will empower us with inner strength - the strength we need to overcome challenges. And the most important resource of God is His wide, long, high, deep, and indescribable love for all of us. The more we trust God, the more we experience His love - and this is the empowerment we need. When we experience this love, there is nothing else we need.
Just like what Paul said, may we experience His love and be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God!
