Faith gives prayer its power. It is not the length of our prayers or the eloquence of our words that moves heaven, it is a heart that fully trusts in God. To pray in faith means to approach Him with confidence, believing that He is able, that He is willing, and that He is good.

Faith-filled prayer changes us before it changes our situation. It strengthens our dependence, deepens our trust, and reminds us that nothing is impossible with God.

Join us as we grow together in faith through a study of Prayer by Ellen G. White.

Through this study, we aim to understand the power of prayer, deepen our relationship with God, and see how prayer can positively transform our daily lives.

Follow our page to receive reflections and insights from each chapter.

If you have a prayer request, please send it via direct message or in the comments. It would be our privilege to pray for you.

Happy Midweek!

Chapter 5 — God’s Promises Concerning Prayer

Prayer is an invitation backed by a promise. When God says, “Call to Me,” it is not a distant command it is a loving assurance that He is ready to respond. We do not pray into silence; we pray to a faithful God who listens, answers, and reveals His will in His perfect way.

His promises remind us that prayer is not about demanding outcomes, but about deepening trust. Sometimes He answers quickly. Sometimes He answers differently. Sometimes He answers by shaping our hearts before changing our circumstances. But He always answers according to His wisdom and love.

As we honor this sacred time, we step into His blessing, remembering that our lives are sustained not by endless work, but by the grace and presence of our Creator.

Chapter 4 — Prayer and Soul Winning

Soul-winning does not begin with speaking, it begins with kneeling. Before we can reach hearts, we must first reach Heaven. Prayer is not just preparation for the work; it is the work. It is in the quiet place with God that burdens are formed, compassion is deepened, and courage is strengthened. When we pray, we acknowledge that transformation is not produced by eloquence or strategy, but by the power of the Holy Spirit moving in unseen ways.

Every name we whisper in prayer is placed into God’s faithful hands. Every tear shed in intercession waters seeds we may never see grow. Through prayer, doors open that effort alone could never unlock. Through prayer, hearts soften that seemed once unreachable.

If we desire to win souls, we must first win in prayer. Because when we pray fervently and faithfully, Heaven responds powerfully.

Chapter 3 — Repentance

“What shall we do?” — a question that reveals a heart ready to change. In Steps to Christ, Chapter 3 teaches us that true repentance is not merely feeling sorrow for sin, but turning away from it and returning fully to God. When we let go of what separates us from Christ, He offers forgiveness, renewal, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. What is God asking you to let go of today?

Come and join us as we study the book Steps to Christ by Ellen G. White. Follow our page for reflections, insights, and encouragement as we grow together in faith.
