Luctamini Intrare per Angustam Portam

On this Twenty First Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Gospel reminds us that the path to the Kingdom calls for faith, perseverance, and a life sincerely devoted to Christ. The Lord invites us not merely to know Him, but to follow Him faithfully and to live according to His teachings.

This Sunday, we also give special attention to the cultivation of our altar servers, who generously offer their time and service at the altar of the Lord. Their ministry is a beautiful school of faith, discipline, reverence, and love for the Holy Eucharist.

May our altar servers continue to grow not only in their service at the sanctuary, but also in holiness and friendship with Christ. May they learn to serve with humble hearts, attentive minds, and joyful spirits, knowing that every act of service offered to God is precious in His sight.

Prayer for Our Altar Servers:

Heavenly Father, bless all our altar servers who faithfully serve at Your holy altar. Guide them as they grow in faith and wisdom. May their service deepen their love for the Holy Eucharist and inspire them to follow Christ throughout their lives.

Grant them perseverance in their vocation, courage in times of difficulty, and joy in serving Your Church. May they always remember that their service is an offering of love to You.

Through the intercession of Saint Tarcisius, patron of altar servers, may they remain faithful servants of Christ and His Church.

O Mulier, Magna Est Fides Tua

On this Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time, we gather with grateful hearts to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and to give thanks for the countless blessings God continues to bestow upon us.

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the power of steadfast faith and humble perseverance. The Canaanite woman never ceased to trust in the mercy of Christ, even when faced with difficulty and uncertainty. Her unwavering faith teaches us to remain faithful in prayer, trusting that God hears the deepest desires of our hearts.

As we celebrate this sacred day, may we learn from her example to approach the Lord with humility, courage, and unwavering trust. May our faith remain steadfast in times of trial, and may our lives become a living testimony of God’s mercy and love.

Prayer of Thanksgiving:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your abundant blessings, Your unfailing mercy, and the gift of faith.

Teach us to trust in You with humble and persevering hearts. When we face trials and uncertainties, strengthen our faith and remind us that Your mercy never fails.

May we follow the example of the Canaanite woman, approaching You with confidence and surrender, knowing that You are always faithful.

Misericors Amor Eius Aeternus Est

Today, we gather with grateful hearts for this special Thanksgiving Mass, presided over by the Most Reverend Sean B. Mejia, DD, Bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk.

On this Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Gospel reminds us to remain vigilant and faithful, for we do not know the hour when the Lord will come. Christ calls us to live each day with hearts ready to receive Him, faithfully carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to us and using every blessing for His greater glory.

As we celebrate the Holy Eucharist, let us give thanks for God’s abundant blessings, for His faithfulness throughout our journey, and for the people He has placed in our lives. May this celebration renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and inspire us to serve with humility, generosity, and love.

Prayer of Thanksgiving:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your countless blessings and for Your unfailing love and mercy. Receive our gratitude for all that You have given us, both in moments of joy and in times of trial.

Teach us to remain faithful and watchful, always ready to answer Your call. May our lives become an offering of thanksgiving, and may everything we do lead others closer to You.

Quaerite Primum Regnum Dei

On this Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Lord reminds us that life does not consist in the abundance of possessions, but in seeking the treasures that endure forever. Earthly wealth fades, honors pass away, but the grace of God and the riches of a faithful heart remain for eternity.

As we gather for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, let us examine where our hearts truly rest. May we seek first the Kingdom of God, placing our trust not in material things, but in the providence of our Heavenly Father, who never fails those who hope in Him.

In a world often consumed by ambition and self interest, may we choose generosity over greed, service over prestige, and holiness over worldly success. Let our lives bear witness that our greatest treasure is Christ Himself, present in His Word and in the Most Holy Eucharist.

Prayer for Detachment and Trust :

Heavenly Father, teach us to seek what is eternal rather than what is passing. Free our hearts from every attachment that draws us away from You, and fill us with a sincere desire to live according to Your holy will.

Grant that we may use the blessings You have given us for the service of others, the building of Your Kingdom, and the greater glory of Your Holy Name.

With grateful hearts, we warmly welcome Rev. Fr. Mario S. Estrella, O.C., as our newly appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, effective August 2, 2026.

By the appointment of His Excellency, Most Rev. Napoleon Balili Sipalay Jr., OP, DD, our Diocesan Bishop, we joyfully receive Fr. Mario once again into our parish family.

May the Good Shepherd continue to guide and strengthen you as you faithfully proclaim the Gospel and serve God’s people. We pray that your ministry among us will bear abundant fruits of faith, hope, and love.
