More than halfway through the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God, and today we reflected on the truth about 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬.

God has called and equipped leaders and believers to serve His Church, reach the world with the gospel, worship Him wholeheartedly, build up saints, and show His love through compassionate ministries.

And yes.. all girl power today! We may all be girls, but we’re serving God big time!

A look back at last month’s JOYSS as we continued studying the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God.

We reflected on 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚, the truth that through Christ’s work, healing is part of the gospel and a reminder of God’s restoring power in our lives.

A reminder that through Jesus’ sacrifice, God not only saves us, He also heals and restores.

Grateful for a God who restores what we thought was already broken.

So grateful for the timely message from Ate Zai Chinte, reminding us that God is already working in our present spaces to build the capacity we’ll need for what’s ahead.

Thank you to everyone who came and shared fellowship with us. Busog sa Word, busog pud sa food. 🙌

And yes.. something exciting is already being prepared for the next fellowship.

01.18.2026 || 1st JOYSS Meeting for 2026

JOYSS resumed, exam agad. 😅

Sounds academic, but this is actually essential.
We’re learning the 16 Fundamental Truths
because faith that knows is faith that stands.

Knowing what we believe matters. As Apostle Paul said, "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." – 1 Peter 3:15

Our 2010 has been well-documented.

Backstory:
It's summer, it's vacation season, of course, nothing's more fun than to go swimming. Basta mga bata tubig ray wa, bahalag mulagom.
This was in Demegillo resort dated May 27, 2010.

Take us back to the time na mas daghan mi og kuyas than ates na gadala dala sa amoa. Unsa kahay pagkaon namo dira? 😆 Makabusog ra man nuon ang tubig na naay chlorine. 🤣

Day 3 of compiling memories and posting throw backs

Backstory:
Photos taken way back September 26, 2010. This was during our water baptism at Hillsview Resort, Municipality of Trento.

This was after the successive run of the Jesus Christ Holy Ghost Explosion Crusade of Evangelist Riesini Maraat in Bunawan.

It's a memorable time kay for a lot of us, including sa mga nabawtismohan na sa water na youth, it's the culmination of the special encounters with the Holy Spirit we have experienced when we joined in the preparation and took part as workers during the crusades.

We may be too young to comprehend everything that time but it was 🔥 on 🔥.

Praises to the same loving God who delights in us even during our young and highly emotional season.

When there's a camera, it's just pure joy.

Backstory:
The day was October 29, 2010. We were invited into a youth fellowship where we'll showcase our talents.

Unsay talent?
Eagle's wings interpretative dance for the nth time gyapon 🤣 pero for some reason wala na picture-an ang actual performance but here’s all the behind the scenes chaos.

We arrived there only to find out na sa circuit John ra man diay to na fellowship, we thought sectional 😆 and yun nga nag apil-apil mi, but hey we're young, bahala na, importante we had a great time based from the pictures.

Thanks to our ate Andrelie for always welcoming us sa ilang balay whenever naay fellowship sa San Francisco.

Thank you, Jesus, for the rich memories and for always being with us in every season of our lives 🥺
