𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗸𝗮-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝘆𝘇𝗮— 𝗶 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗬𝗜𝗙𝗜! 😅

The whole congregation of Iglesia Filipina Independiente is celebrating Laity Month with the theme “𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚.” And this coming Sunday, October 11 at 7AM, it’s finally our turn to sponsor the Holy Mass.

We’ll be serving through the Choir, Bible readings, Intercessions, and other parts of the Mass. So, Team YIFI, let’s show up and do our part!

And of course, we also have our fellowship lunch after Mass!

For our offering, you may bring something fresh, something to cook, or something already cooked. Whatever you bring will be prepared or served for our fellowship lunch.

So basically, what you offer is what we eat. 😎

After lunch, don’t leave just yet because we’ll also have our Bible Study. 𝐒𝐨 𝐲𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞, 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞!

𝗔 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲! ⛪️✨

The Diocese of Cagayan de Oro particularly in the Parish of the Pro-Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, Bulua warmly welcomed the Diocese of Masbate, who are currently in the Diocese of Cagayan de Oro for their Lakbay-Aral.

Several Priests from the Diocese of Masbate who arrived earlier also officiated the Evening Mass for the 14th Sunday after Pentecost at the Pro-Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, joining our parish community in prayer and worship.

We give thanks for this opportunity to welcome and fellowship with the Diocese of Masbate. May their Lakbay-Aral be fruitful and enriching, and may this encounter strengthen our shared mission of serving God and His people.

The Iglesia Filipina Independiente Diocese of Cagayan de Oro – Pro-Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, Bulua Parish celebrated the 124th Proclamation Anniversary on August 2, 2026, in commemoration of the historic proclamation of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente on August 3, 1902.
The celebration began with the processional, followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Through the liturgy, the parish community gathered in thanksgiving for God’s continued guidance and faithfulness throughout the years, while reflecting on our shared calling to serve through the gifts entrusted to us.
Following the Holy Mass, parishioners, visitors, and members of the parish community gathered for a simple fellowship. The celebration was further enriched through presentations from the Choir, Sectors, and other participants, who shared their God-given talents, together with the Pulang Lupa Band.

As we commemorate 124 years of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente, may we remain faithful to our calling to use the gifts entrusted to us in service to God, the Church, and the community.

On July 26, 2026, the YIFI Bulua Parish and YIFI Baybay Mission came together for a meaningful and blessed Bible Study centered on the Gospel theme, “𝑨𝒚𝒂𝒘 𝑰-𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒚.”🌱

Through the parable of the mustard seed and the yeast, we were reminded that even the smallest beginnings, simplest acts, and little steps of faith can grow into something greater when placed in God’s hands. What may seem small to us can become something significant through His grace. 🤍

May we continue to trust God in the little things, knowing that He can use our small efforts, small faith, and small beginnings for a greater purpose. ✨
