In a world that normalizes “pwede na,” God calls you to something better.
Your heart is not cheap.
It’s not common.
It’s not disposable.
Your heart carries your dreams, your calling, your faith, and your future. That’s why the Bible says in Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
If everything flows from your heart, then who you allow into it matters.
Loneliness can make the wrong attention feel like love.
But attention is not affection.
And affection is not always intention.
Some people will like you because you’re convenient.
Some will pursue you because you’re available.
But the right one will value you because you’re intentional and God-centered.
Never trade your peace just to have someone.
Never lower your standards just to feel chosen.
When you settle, you’re saying, “This is enough.”
But when you trust God, you’re saying, “I believe You have better.”
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God’s plans are for our good, not for harm—to give us hope and a future. That includes your relationships.
God’s best will:
• Respect your boundaries
• Protect your purity
• Strengthen your faith
• Bring you closer to Him, not farther
If someone pulls you away from your purpose, that’s not God’s best. That’s a distraction.
You are not just “someone’s future partner.”
You are God’s child first.
Before anyone holds your hand, God already holds your life. Before anyone loves you imperfectly, God loves you perfectly.
Romans 8:32 reminds us that if God did not spare His own Son for us, how much more will He graciously give us what we truly need?
So don’t rush.
Don’t chase.
Don’t compete.
If it’s God’s best, it will come with peace—not pressure.
With clarity—not confusion.
With purpose—not pain.
Your heart is too valuable to give to someone who treats it casually.
Too sacred to offer to someone who doesn’t honor God.
Too precious to settle for “almost.”
Wait for the kind of love that reflects Christ.
Wait for the kind of love that prays with you.
Wait for the kind of love that chooses you the right way.
Because you’re not meant for temporary feelings.
You’re meant for God’s best.
