Parish of Pope Saint John Paul II Bulan Pope St. John Paul II Parish at Immaculate Conception Subdivision in Bulan, Sorsogon is the 31st parish of the Diocese of Sorsogon.

It was inaugurated on June 26, 2019 and a community to the faithful of 21 capillas in 13 barangays of Bulan.

In anticipation of the Feast of Saint John Paul II, the Pawa Parish takes a bold step in enhancing its sacred space with the extension of the left-wing roofing, ensuring comfort and shelter for all who gather in faith.

This significant improvement, made possible through the generosity of Atty. Boots Corvite and the craftsmanship of Architect Ronald Gojar Antonio, stands as a testament to the power of giving. The Saint John Paul II Parish, led by Rev. Fr. Joel Bilan, extends its heartfelt thanks to Atty. Corvite for his unwavering support and commitment to the church.

This project not only enhances our parish’s physical space but also reflects the strength and unity of our community, inspiring all of us to give back in ways that uplift the spirit and deepen our shared faith.

Marvin Florano Marcellano.

They will be called to the Sacred Order of Deacons on the 2nd of October, 2024, at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Sorsogon City.

And the banns for ordination to the presbyterate of the ff: deacons

Rev. Richard Mataverde Canaria
Rev. Jemuel Bernales Gepiga
Rev. Raschid Lander Dio Golimlim, and
Rev. Michael Ceazar Atutubo Mestiola.

The first four will be called to the Sacred Order of Presbyters on the 25th of October, 2024, at the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Bulan. Rev. Mestiola on the 29th of the same month and year, at the Holy Family Parish, Putiao, Pilar.
