Prayer to Our Lady of the Assumption

Heavenly Father,
on this glorious Solemnity of the Assumption, we thank You for the gift of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom You raised body and soul into the glory of Heaven.

Mary, our Mother and Queen, you who faithfully said “yes” to God and remained steadfast beside Jesus through joy and suffering, pray for us. Teach us to trust God’s will, to remain faithful in trials, and to keep our hearts fixed on Heaven.

Intercede for our families, our loved ones, the sick, the suffering, and all those who need God’s grace. Bring our prayers before your Son, Jesus, and lead us always closer to Him.

When we are weary, strengthen us.
When we are afraid, give us courage.
When we lose hope, remind us that Heaven is our true home.

Our Lady of the Assumption, pray for us.
Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
Mary, Queen Assumed into Heaven, intercede for us.

May we one day share with you in the eternal joy of Heaven, through Christ our Lord.

Today, we joyfully honor Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a beloved title of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Patroness of the Carmelite Order. Through the gift of the Brown Scapular, she reminds us to remain close to her Son, Jesus Christ, by living lives of faith, prayer, purity, and loving service.

May our Blessed Mother wrap us in her maternal mantle, protect us from every danger, strengthen us in times of trial, and always lead us closer to Christ.
