MAY 23 — SATURDAY DEVOTION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

Every Saturday, the Church gives special honor to the Immaculate Heart of Blessed Virgin Mary — a heart filled with perfect love for God, deep compassion for humanity, and unwavering faith even in the midst of sorrow.

The heart of Mary is called “Immaculate” because it was preserved by God’s grace and remained pure, obedient, and fully devoted to His will. It is a heart that loved Jesus completely — from Bethlehem to Calvary, from moments of joy to moments of unbearable pain.

To reflect on the Immaculate Heart of Mary is to remember that our Blessed Mother understands every human sorrow. She knows what it is to suffer silently, to wait patiently, to trust God without fully understanding His plans, and to remain faithful even when the heart is pierced with grief.

How many times have we carried burdens quietly?
How many nights have we cried without words?
How many prayers have we whispered while waiting for God’s answer?

Mary understands them all.

That is why so many faithful run to her maternal heart — not because she replaces Christ, but because she always leads us closer to Him. Her heart points only to Jesus.

This Saturday devotion is an invitation to place our worries, fears, family problems, brokenness, and hidden pains into the loving care of our Blessed Mother. A mother never ignores the cries of her children, and Mary continually intercedes for us before her Son.

As the Month of Mary slowly draws to a close, may we continue to imitate her humility, purity, patience, and trust in God. And may her Immaculate Heart become our refuge in times of confusion, weakness, and suffering.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
be our comfort, our guide, and our way to Jesus.

MAY 22 — FRIDAY DEVOTION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

Today is Friday — a day traditionally dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Heart that burns with endless love, mercy, and compassion for humanity.

The Sacred Heart reminds us that no matter how wounded, tired, sinful, or broken we are, there is always a place for us in the Heart of Christ. A Heart pierced for love. A Heart that continues to forgive, heal, and embrace.

In a world that easily gives up on people, the Sacred Heart of Jesus never stops loving.
When the world says, “You are not enough,”
Jesus says, “Come to Me.”
When your heart is heavy with fears and silent battles, His Heart becomes your refuge and peace.

This Friday, let us entrust to Him all our worries, pains, unanswered prayers, and even the burdens we cannot explain to others. The Sacred Heart of Jesus knows every tear hidden behind our smiles.

May His Heart teach us how to love more sincerely, forgive more freely, and trust more deeply.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You. ❤️

MAY 21—𝗧𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧. 𝗝𝗨𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗘𝗨𝗦

St. Jude Thaddeus is known as the patron saint of hopeless cases and desperate situations. Many people turn to him in moments of great difficulty—when prayers seem unanswered, when burdens become too heavy, and when hope slowly fades from the heart.

Yet devotion to St. Jude reminds us of a powerful truth: with God, no situation is ever truly hopeless.

There are moments in life when we feel exhausted from carrying silent struggles. Some are battling family problems, financial difficulties, heartbreak, sickness, anxiety, or fears about the future. Sometimes we pray and wonder why God seems silent. Sometimes we grow tired of waiting for healing, answers, or peace.

But faith teaches us to keep praying even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

St. Jude devoted his life to preaching the Gospel and remaining faithful to Christ even through suffering and persecution. His life reminds us that holiness is not found in a life without struggles, but in trusting God despite them.

Today, as we honor St. Jude Thaddeus, may we entrust to him the impossible situations we carry in our hearts. May he intercede for those who feel hopeless, discouraged, or spiritually weary. May he remind us that God works even in silence, and that delays are not signs of abandonment.

If your heart feels heavy today, do not stop praying. God hears even the prayers you cry silently within yourself.

St. Jude Thaddeus, pray for us.
Pray for those who are losing hope.
Pray for those waiting for healing, answers, and miracles.
And pray that we may remain faithful even in difficult seasons of life. 🙏✝️

May 20 IS WEDNESDAY DEVOTION TO OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP

Every Wednesday, countless faithful gather in prayer and devotion to honor Our Mother of Perpetual Help — the loving Mother who never grows tired of listening to the cries of her children. In moments of fear, uncertainty, suffering, and even silent battles that no one else sees, Mary gently leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

The image of Our Mother of Perpetual Help reminds us that we are never abandoned. As the Child Jesus clings to His Mother in trust, we too are invited to hold onto Mary’s hand, especially when life becomes heavy and uncertain. She is a Mother who comforts the weary, strengthens the weak, and intercedes for us with a love that never fails.

This Wednesday, let us pause for a moment of prayer. Entrust to Mary your worries, your family, your dreams, and even the burdens you cannot explain in words. Ask her to guide you, protect you, and help you remain faithful to God amidst the trials of everyday life.

May Our Mother of Perpetual Help remind us that hope is never lost when we place our trust in the Lord.

Our Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for us.

May 19 — Tuesday Devotion to Saint Anthony of Padua 🙏

Every Tuesday, many faithful devotees turn to St. Anthony of Padua with confidence and love. Known as the “Wonder Worker” and the patron saint of lost things, St. Anthony continues to inspire millions because of his deep holiness, powerful preaching, and unwavering love for Jesus. But beyond helping us find lost objects, St. Anthony reminds us to seek the things that truly matter — a heart close to God, peace in times of confusion, and faith that remains firm even in trials.

There are moments in life when we feel lost ourselves. Lost in direction, lost in purpose, lost in hope, or even lost in our relationship with God. St. Anthony teaches us that no soul is ever too far from the mercy of the Lord. Through prayer, repentance, and trust in God’s will, we can always find our way back home spiritually.

His life was a testimony of humility and obedience. Though gifted with wisdom and eloquence, he never sought fame for himself. Instead, he used every talent God gave him to preach truth, defend the poor, and lead people closer to Christ. In a world filled with distractions and noise, St. Anthony reminds us that true greatness is found in holiness, compassion, and service.

This Tuesday, may we not only ask St. Anthony for favors and miracles, but also imitate his faith and devotion. May we learn to trust God more deeply, to pray more sincerely, and to love more selflessly. And when life feels uncertain, may we remember that with God, nothing truly good is ever lost.

St. Anthony of Padua, pray for us. ✨

May 18 — HAVE A BLESSED MONDAY, CATHOLICS! ✨🙏

A new Monday has come, and with it arrives another beautiful reminder that God is not yet finished with us. The simple gift of waking up today is already a sign of His mercy, love, and faithfulness. No matter how heavy the past days may have been, the Lord continues to offer us new beginnings and fresh grace for the week ahead.

Mondays are often seen as exhausting or difficult because they mark the return to responsibilities, work, studies, and the many struggles of daily life. Yet as Catholics, we are reminded that even the ordinary routines of life can become holy when offered to God. Every task done with love, patience, honesty, and humility becomes an act of worship. Every silent sacrifice, every act of kindness, and every moment of perseverance is seen by the Lord.

As we continue our journey toward Pentecost, may this Monday become an opportunity for us to open our hearts more deeply to the Holy Spirit. May the Spirit renew our strength when we feel weak, calm our minds when we are anxious, and guide our decisions when we are uncertain. The world may sometimes leave us tired, disappointed, or discouraged, but God continuously invites us to walk forward with hope and trust.

May we also remember that holiness is not found only inside churches or during grand moments of prayer. Holiness can be lived in the ordinary: in being patient with our family, honest in our work, compassionate toward others, and faithful even when nobody notices. This Monday, let us strive not only to become successful people, but more importantly, people who reflect Christ through the way we live and treat others.

Whatever burdens you carry today, surrender them to the Lord. Whatever fears trouble your heart, place them before Jesus. And whatever blessings come your way this week, receive them with gratitude and humility.

May the Lord bless your home, your work, your loved ones, and all the intentions hidden within your heart. May Mama Mary intercede for you always, and may the Holy Spirit guide you throughout this new week. 🤍

May 17 — Have a Blessed Ascension Sunday

Today, we celebrate the glorious Ascension of the Lord — the day Jesus returned to the Father in Heaven, not to leave us behind, but to prepare the way for us.

As Christ ascended, He entrusted His disciples with a mission: to bring His love, mercy, and Gospel to the world. Though He is no longer seen with human eyes, He remains with us always — in the Eucharist, in His Word, and through the Holy Spirit whom He promised to send.

Ascension Sunday reminds us that our hearts are meant for Heaven. In the midst of life’s burdens, fears, and uncertainties, Jesus calls us to lift our eyes upward with hope, knowing that He reigns in glory and walks with us still.

May this Ascension Sunday renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and deepen our longing for God.

“He was lifted up, and a cloud took Him from their sight.” — Acts 1:9

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘿𝙄𝙁𝙁𝙀𝙍𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝘽𝙀𝙏𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙉: 𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙋𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 & 𝘼𝙎𝘾𝙀𝙉𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉

The feasts of the Assumption and the Ascension are closely connected in meaning, yet they are profoundly different in who is honored, how the event takes place, and what each mystery reveals about God’s plan of salvation.

• ASSUMPTION — The Blessed Virgin Mary

The Assumption refers to the moment when the Blessed Virgin Mary was taken up into heaven, body and soul, at the end of her earthly life. The Church celebrates this solemnity every year on August 15. Unlike death as we normally understand it, Mary’s Assumption is believed as a unique participation in her Son’s victory over sin and death. She was preserved from original sin from the moment of her conception, and at the end of her life, God brought her fully into heavenly glory.

This truth is not directly narrated in Scripture, but it is deeply rooted in Sacred Tradition and is defined as a dogma of the Catholic Church. It reflects the belief that Mary, who carried Christ in her womb and remained perfectly faithful to God, shares already in the fullness of redemption promised to all the faithful.

The Assumption reminds us of our future hope: that our bodies are not meant for destruction, but for resurrection and eternal life with God.

• ASCENSION — Our Lord Jesus Christ

The Ascension refers to Jesus Christ returning to heaven by His own divine power, forty days after His Resurrection. It is celebrated on the 40th day of Easter (or transferred to Sunday in many places). Unlike Mary, Jesus does not “receive” glory—He returns to the glory He has always possessed as the eternal Son of God.

The Ascension is clearly recorded in Sacred Scripture:

Acts 1:9–11 – Jesus is lifted up before the eyes of the apostles

Mark 16:19–20 – The Lord is taken up into heaven and sits at the right hand of God

Luke 24:50–53 – Jesus blesses His disciples and is carried into heaven

The Ascension is not a departure of absence, but the completion of Christ’s mission on earth and His exaltation as King and Lord of all creation. From heaven, He continues to intercede for His Church and sends the Holy Spirit.

Mary’s Assumption points us to the fruit of Christ’s salvation in a human person, while Jesus’ Ascension reveals the source of that salvation itself.

Together, they proclaim one message: heaven is real, Christ reigns, and those who remain faithful to God are destined for glory.

CELEBRATIONS COMING UP!

As the Easter Season reaches its fullness, the Church prepares to enter two great and powerful solemnities that reveal the heart of Christ’s mission and the birth of the Church: the Ascension of the Lord and Pentecost Sunday. These sacred days are not only historical events we remember, but living mysteries that continue to shape our faith today.

✨ Ascension Sunday — May 17, 2026
On this day, we celebrate the Ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven. After His Resurrection, the Lord remained with His disciples for forty days, teaching them, strengthening their faith, and preparing them for their mission. Then, before their very eyes, He was taken up into heaven and seated at the right hand of the Father. The Ascension is not a moment of separation, but a moment of fulfillment. Christ enters into His glory, not to abandon His Church, but to reign eternally and intercede for us.

This mystery reminds us that our true home is heaven. While we live on earth, we are pilgrims journeying toward eternity. The Ascension calls us to lift our hearts above fear, distraction, and sin, and to live with hope. It also reminds us that we are sent—just as the apostles were sent—to proclaim the Gospel through our words, actions, and witness of faith.

🔥 Pentecost Sunday — May 24, 2026
Ten days after the Ascension, the Church celebrates Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and Mary gathered in prayer in the Upper Room. Like a mighty wind and tongues of fire, the Spirit filled them with courage, wisdom, and boldness. From that moment, the Church was born and began her mission to the world.

Pentecost is not only a memory of what happened in the past—it is a living reality. The same Holy Spirit continues to be poured out upon the Church today, strengthening believers, renewing hearts, and guiding us into truth. It is a call to spiritual renewal: to let go of fear, to rekindle faith, and to allow God’s Spirit to transform our lives.

As we prepare for these holy celebrations, we are invited to pray more deeply, reflect more sincerely, and open our hearts to grace.

Come, Holy Spirit—renew the face of the earth. 🙏🏻🔥

16/05/2026

TOMORROW IS ASCENSION SUNDAY

Tomorrow, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord — when Jesus Christ, after forty days of appearing to His disciples following His Resurrection, was taken up into heaven and seated at the right hand of the Father.

The Ascension is not a departure of absence, but a revelation of glory. Christ does not leave His people abandoned; rather, He enters into the fullness of His divine kingship while promising to remain with us always through the Holy Spirit, the sacraments, and His Church. As He ascends, He opens the way for humanity to share in eternal life, showing us our true home is not only on earth, but in heaven.

The disciples watched Him go, but they did not remain in sorrow. Instead, they returned with joy, prayer, and expectation of the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Ascension calls us to lift our hearts above worldly concerns and to live with hope, knowing that Christ reigns victorious over sin, death, and all darkness.

As we prepare for this sacred day, we are invited to renew our faith, deepen our prayer, and trust in God’s plan. Like the apostles, we are also sent into the world to proclaim the Gospel, to be witnesses of Christ’s love, and to live as people of hope.

Lord Jesus, as You ascended into heaven, lift our hearts to You and strengthen our faith. 🙏🏻✨

MAY 16 — SATURDAY DEVOTION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

Every Saturday, the Church lovingly dedicates a special devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary — the pure and faithful heart of our Blessed Mother who loved God with complete trust and unwavering obedience. Her heart was never centered on herself, but always on the will of the Lord. From the moment she said her humble “yes” to the angel Gabriel, Mary offered her whole life to God’s plan, even when it led her through sorrow, sacrifice, and suffering. She carried Jesus in her womb with love, followed Him throughout His earthly ministry with quiet faith, and remained standing at the foot of the Cross while witnessing the suffering and death of her Son.

The Immaculate Heart of Mary is a heart filled with compassion, purity, humility, patience, and maternal love. It is a heart that understands human pain, loneliness, fear, and grief because Mary herself experienced them. Yet despite every sorrow she endured, she never lost faith in God’s promises. She teaches us how to trust the Lord even when life becomes difficult, uncertain, or painful. In honoring her Immaculate Heart, we are reminded to open our own hearts to God, to turn away from sin, and to grow in holiness through prayer and obedience.

This devotion also calls us to pray the Holy Rosary faithfully, to offer sacrifices for sinners, and to seek peace through Christ. Our Lady continually points us not to herself, but to Jesus. She desires that every soul return to Him, receive His mercy, and remain close to His Sacred Heart. Through her loving intercession, many wounded hearts find comfort, strength, and hope.

Today, let us entrust to the Immaculate Heart of Mary our families, our fears, our dreams, our struggles, and the burdens we carry silently within us. May she wrap us in her motherly care, guide us away from darkness, and lead us closer to her Son each day. In a world filled with confusion and unrest, the gentle heart of Mary remains a refuge for all who seek peace, healing, and grace.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us and lead us always to Jesus. 🙏🏻🤍
