Word of the Day 😇

Colossians 3:17 (NIV)
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

This verse calls us to live with intentional purpose, aligning every action and every word with the character of Jesus. It reminds us that our faith is not limited to certain moments but is meant to shape our entire life always in conversations, decisions, work, and relationships.

When we act “in the name of the Lord Jesus,” we represent Him, reflecting His love, truth, and humility. Gratitude becomes the heartbeat of our daily living, recognizing that everything we have and do flows through God.

We are challenged to make Christ the center of everything we do, allowing His name to guide our behavior and our attitude in all areas of life.

Today, let us consciously pause before speaking or acting and ask, “Does this honor Jesus?” Let gratitude shape our perspective in both small and big moments.

Victory over the past.
Victory through surrender.
Victory in a new life with Christ.

Hearts were changed, faith was declared, and heaven rejoiced with us. 🙌✨

You’re never too young to choose Jesus. Baptism is more than a moment, it's a bold declaration that your life belongs to Him and your journey with Him is just beginning.

1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)
“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”

We are reminded that choosing Jesus is a courageous decision we can make even in our youth. We step forward in baptism as a public declaration of our faith, showing that we belong to Him.

In our daily lives, we can live out this decision by standing firm in faith, making choices that honor God, and inspiring others to follow Him too.

Age doesn’t matter when you decide to follow Jesus, whether you’re young or old, His call is always for you. He meets you where you are, and it’s never too early or too late to say yes. What matters is your willing heart, because when you choose Him, He walks with you every step of the way.

Acts 2:38 NIV
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We are reminded that following Jesus is not limited by age but shaped by our willingness to live for Him. We can choose to reflect Christ in our words, actions, and faith regardless of where we are in life.

Each day, we have the opportunity to inspire others by how we live, showing that a heart surrendered to Jesus is what truly matters.

Word of the Day 😇

Psalm 32:5-7 NIV
"[5]Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. [6] Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. [7] You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance."

What is confession?
To confess our sin is to agree with God, acknowledging that he is right to declare what we have done as sinful and that we are wrong to desire it or to do it. It means affirming our intention of abandoning that sin in order to follow God more faithfully.

By confessing his sin, David stopped trying to hide his guilt. When Nathan the prophet exposed him, he felt guilty for breaking God’s law and ashamed for dishonoring God’s name before the people and the royal household.

If we think we can hide from God, we will experience no relief. When David had been forgiven, God became his hiding place from guilt and shame.

If you struggle with remorse for past sins, ask God to surround your heart and mind with his love and to protect you from negative and destructive thoughts. God will surround you with songs of victory.
