Martha has always been seen as the sister who prioritized serving God, while Mary is seen as someone that Christ adores because of her devotion. But let us be reminded that both of them are loved and appreciated by Jesus for what they have done. Martha chose to do what she could do in order to serve God and his people. Mary chose to offer Jesus the expensive perfume and spread it using her hair out of devotion to Jesus Christ.

The story of Martha and Mary was not stated in the Bible to compare the two of them, but for us to know that not all good is important. Choose what is better in order to glorify God, and that is to have the willingness to know Him better. Being devoted to Jesus comes with the desire and eagerness to serve Him. Be like Mary before being like Martha. Be at His feet before doing anything else.

Sa araw na ito, ipinapaalala sa atin na ang pag-asa ay hindi kailanman mawawala. Ang libingan ni Hesus ay walang laman, na nagpapatunay na ang bawat isa ay nakamit ang katagumpayan sa muling pagkabuhay ng ating Panginoon. Ang sakripisyo Niya ay walang katumbas, at ang Kaniyang pag-ibig ay walang kapantay.

Kasabay nito ay ang pagba-bautismo sa mga kabataan ng Amazing Grace, sa napagtagumpayang Confirmation Class. Nawa ay patuloy na gamitin ang bawat isa ng Panginoon sa ministeryo at sa ikalalago ng buong Iglesia. Gayundin ay maranasan ang presensiya at pagmamahal ng Diyos sa inyong mga buhay.

Isang araw na puno ng kagalakan at kasiyahan! Tanda na ang Diyos ay buhay at patuloy na mabuti sa bawat isa.

Salamat sa Panginoon, at sa lahat ng mga taong nagbigay at nakibahagi sa ating Christmas Fellowship. Ang Diyos po nawa ang magbalik sainyo ng siksik, liglig, at umaapaw na biyaya!

Pinapaalala nito sa atin na huwag nating kalilimutan na ang panahon na ito ay ang pag-alala natin na si Hesus ay isinilang at ibinigay ng Diyos para sa atin. Kung kaya't patuloy na tayo ay magpasalamat at magpuri sa kabutihan ng Panginoon.
