Ang Komisyong ng Komunikasyong Panlipunan (Social Communication) ay nagsimula noong 1993 sa Mass Media sa pamamagitan ng RENEW Process na itinaguyod sa parokya sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ni P. Dito unang nailathala ang pahayagan ng parokya. Nabuo ang pamunuan ng komisyon noong Abril 1998 sa panunguna ni Dr. Betzaida Banaag M.D. bilang unang tagapangulo (Chairperson). n ng Parokya ni San Pedro ay dating quarterly newsletter. Ang salitang “PETROS” ibig sabihin sa wikang Griyego ay “bato”. Na ikaw ay Pedro, at sa ibabaw ng batong ito ay itatayo ko ang aking iglesia; at hindi magsisipanaig sa kanya kahit ang kapangyarihan ng kamatayan (Mateo 16:18).
