Fully Loved | 7:07 Hour
Psalm 139:1 O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
A lyric from one of my favorite songs says, โMaybe we seek for something that we couldnโt ever have.โ Thereโs a certain beauty in something not being meant for us. As much as I hate to admit it, thereโs an unexplainable burst of dopamine when pining, when longing, when reaching for something you canโt own. So we run after things that were never ours to begin with.
But today, Iโm not gonna talk about how we keep running after things. Today, I want you to know that you are being sought after, too.
Not by something uncertain. Not by something temporary. But by Someone who already knows you fully. Every thought, every flaw, every hidden corner of your heartโand still chooses you.
And maybe thatโs what it means to be fully seen, fully wanted.
Not just noticed, but known. Not just known, but desired.
Because the truth is, you never have to try so hard to be loved.
You donโt have to perform, prove, or pretend.
You could never run too far, never hide too deep, because His love doesnโt lose track of you.
โWhere can I hide from You?โ
Nowhere.
Not because youโre being chased down in fear, but because you are being pursued in love.
You are fully loved. The same God who searches you also stays with you.
The same God who knows you is the same God who wants you.
So while we spend so much of our lives chasing after things we canโt have,
there is a God who is already running after us, His sons and daughters.
And maybe the real peace comes when we stop asking, โWhy canโt I have this?โ
and start realizing, โI am already fully seen, fully wanted, fully loved.โ
And in that truth, maybe we can finally stop running, and start resting.
