SAINT AUGUSTINE

Saint Augustine, Bishop and Doctor of the Church, is known as one of the greatest minds and hearts in Christianity. Once a man of worldly pursuits, he turned his life completely to God, becoming a passionate defender of the faith.

How he inspires us today:

To never lose hope in change—conversion is always possible.

To seek truth with a restless heart until we find peace in God.

To live humbly, relying not on our strength but on God’s grace.

To use our gifts and wisdom in service of others.

May Saint Augustine remind us that true joy is found in God alone.

HAPPY FEAST DAY, ST. BARTHOLOMEW

Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us St. Bartholomew as an example of holiness. Help us to imitate the love of You he showed by answering the call of Jesus to be an Apostle.

St. Bartholomew, you were one of the twelve men specially chosen by Christ to serve as His Apostles. You followed Him willingly and grew close to Him throughout the time that you spent with Him.

Please bring my petitions before the throne of God!

Along with the other Apostles, you had a close friendship with Our Lord during the time He spent on earth doing His public ministry.

Pray for me, that I may grow to have a deep friendship with Christ in my daily life. Pray that I may always seek to grow in my relationship with Him at every opportunity.

PRAYER TO SAINT ROSE OF LIMA

St. Rose of Lima, faithful servant of God and lover of Christ, teach us to live our lives with humility, patience, and unwavering faith. May your example remind us that true beauty is found not only in outward appearance, but in a heart devoted to God.

When we face trials, help us to trust in God’s plan. When we grow weary, remind us to persevere in prayer. And when we are blessed, teach us to remain humble and grateful.

May we, like you, offer our lives in love and service to God and to others, always seeking holiness in the ordinary moments of life.

St. Rose of Lima, pray for us and lead us closer to Jesus.
