In celebration of the Solemnity of Pentecost, the Augustinian Altar Servers joyfully took part in DILAAB 2026 on May 23, 2026 at San Agustin Parish, a gathering of faith, prayer, and communion, commemorating the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Church.

United with the faithful, we give thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit who continues to guide, strengthen, and renew the people of God in faithful service and discipleship. May this celebration deepen our commitment to Christ and inspire us to live as true witnesses of the Gospel.

The activity will feature a one of a kind prayer, moments of sharing, a formation session, and interactive games aligned with the theme of the gathering. This event aims to foster spiritual growth and strengthen the bond of fellowship among the altar servers.

𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗦𝗧. 𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗟𝗘!

The Investiture of the Servers of the Altar of San Agustin Parish, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲, was successfully held today, April 16, 2026. A total of 𝟰𝟰 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 were formally invested, marking the beginning of their sacred commitment to serve at the altar with devotion and reverence. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Jerry B. Cagas, who led the rites with solemnity and encouragement for the newly invested servers.

May this milestone remind each Altar Servers that their role is not only a duty, but a calling to grow in faith, discipline, and service to God and the Church. Like St. Peter the Apostle, may they remain steadfast and faithful in their journey, becoming instruments of God’s love in the community.

The San Agustin Parish in Valencia City, Bukidnon proudly announces the upcoming 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 for its new set of Altar Servers. This meaningful celebration will take place on April 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM at San Agustin Parish, coinciding with the Holy Mass for the 10𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆, a special occasion that commemorates a decade of faith, service, and community within the parish. The investiture will be officiated by Rev. Fr. Jerry B. Cagas, the Servers of the Altar Spiritual Director, who will formally welcome and bless the new Altar Servers as they begin their sacred ministry.

This year’s newly invested Altar Servers will be known as “𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲,” inspired by the faith and leadership of one of Jesus Christ’s closest disciples. St. Peter the Apostle is deeply connected to the meaning of the Church Dedication Mass because he represents the very foundation of the Church. In the Gospel, Jesus said to Peter: “You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church.” (Matthew 16:18) As they begin their journey, they are called to imitate his courage, humility, and devotion to Jesus Christ, serving not only at the altar but also as examples of faith to others.

We warmly invite family, friends, and the entire parish community to witness and celebrate this important milestone in the lives of these young servants. Let us come together in prayer, asking God to guide them with humility, strengthen them in their commitment, and inspire them to serve faithfully at the altar, following the example of St. Peter in love and dedication to Jesus Christ.

On April 3, 2026, the faithful gathered in solemn unity to commemorate Good Friday through the Stations of the Cross, a sacred journey reflecting on the passion and sacrifice of Christ. With hearts full of reverence, each step taken echoed deep prayer and devotion, as the parish community meditated on every station in silence and grace.
