𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗘, 𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗔𝗗!

On this 250th Year of Devotion to Ina, we celebrate not only a milestone in history but a living faith that continues to unite and inspire her devotees. A heartfelt tribute was offered through a beautiful song composed by one of Ina’s children—an offering of talent, love, and gratitude that reminds us how present Ina is in our lives.

Through every grace received, every prayer answered, and even in life’s simplest blessings, we see her maternal care and intercession. May this song be a reminder that our devotion is not only expressed in grand celebrations, but in our daily trust, service, and thanksgiving.

As we continue our journey as her faithful, may we carry Ina in our hearts, imitate her humility and faith, and share her love with others through our actions. May the next generations also come to know her, love her, and remain devoted to her.

TULONG IMAHEN GIKAN SA SARONG KALPE

During the Celebration of the Fiesta Soledad 2026 the three calpe siblings, Nuestra Señora de Salvacion de Joroan, San Antonio de Padua de Buhi, and Nuestra Señora de la Soledad de Tambo, Buhi once again reunited.

It is a testament to the enduring faith passed down through generations. Their reunion is not only a historic moment, but also a powerful reminder of the deep spiritual bond between the faithful and these beloved icons.

May this year renew our faith, strengthen our unity as a community, and honor the rich heritage of devotion that continue to inspire us today.

𝐅𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝟑 | 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨, 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐢, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫

This is one of the three carvings on the calpe tree on the Story of Our Lady of Salvacion. One was of San Antonio de Padua. As the Story goes, it all began on a certain day when Dacoba was clearing the land which he was tilling. He cut a calpe tree, which is good for use as firewood or post. However, he was amazed because despite the many hours that passed by, the tree remained as fresh as it was before; its leaves did not wilt “Milagro!” he said to himself. He informed his landlord about it. That landlord was Don Arcilla who then consulted the pastor of Buhi of what could be done with it. The friar pastor of Buhi summoned as sculptor named Bagacumba. Out of the tree, he was able to carve three statuettes-Nuestra Señora de Salvacion, San Antonio de Padua, and Nuestra Señora de Soledad—now in Brgy. Joroan of Tiwi, and in the poblacion and Brgy. Tambo both of Buhi, respectively.

This year, they solemnly commemorate 250 years of unwavering devotion to these sacred images, a testament to the enduring faith passed down through generations. Their reunion is not only a historic moment, but also a powerful reminder of the deep spiritual bond between the faithful and these beloved icons.

O Most Holy Virgin of Solitude, we place our hearts within your sorrowful and immaculate hands, trusting in your constant protection over the community of Tambo. Comfort us in our moments of isolation and grief, guiding us always toward the light of your Son, Jesus Christ. May your quiet strength inspire us to remain faithful in our own crosses, knowing that you walk beside us every step of the way. Amen.
