𝑴𝒂𝒚 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑪𝑬𝑺𝑺𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑶𝑭 𝑭𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑰𝑺𝑪𝑨𝑵 𝑺𝑨𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑺

Following the Vespera Mass was a solemn procession of the Franciscan Saints around the town's poblacion. The streets of Buhi were filled with lights and prayers as the pilgrims walked together, reflecting on the holy lives and the inspiring examples of the Saints who followed in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.
A special thanks to 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲 for his valuable contribution to the success of this procession. We are deeply grateful for his dedication, time, and hard work in making this religious expression of faith possible.
Thank you to everyone who joined, offered prayers, and helped make this afternoon a blessed preparation for tomorrow’s grand feast day. May the peace of St. Francis be with you all!

Dedicated to prayer and thanksgiving, this activity marked the solemn day of devotion for the Parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Buhi. The community gathered in the afternoon for a solemn Vespera Mass, uniting their hearts in reflection, gratitude, and peace.

A deep gratitude to Most Rev. Rex Andrew C. Alarcon, D.D., Archbishop of Caceres, and the concelebrating priests for leading the faithful in the Eucharistic celebration and for inspiring the community to walk in the footsteps of St. Francis -- embracing humility, peace, and love for creation. May the spirit of St. Francis continue to guide our parish, ignite our faith, and remind us to be instruments of God's peace.

Yesterday, May 16, 2026, the traditional Fluvial Procession around the waters of Lake Buhi was successfully held at 2:00 P.M. in honor of the upcoming feast day of 𝗦𝘁. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗶, the patron saint of the parish. The activity marks the start of the 9-day novenary masses, leading to his feast.

The maritime procession also featured the patron saints of the various barangays and sitios within the parish, sailing alongside the four primary images of 𝘚𝘵. 𝘗𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘓𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘵 𝘚𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘳, 𝘚𝘵. 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘢𝘥𝘶𝘢, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘵. 𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘪.

Immediately following the procession, the faithful gathered at the Pantalan for the Eucharistic Celebration.

Heartfelt gratitude to all the devotees, and volunteers who made this spiritual journey safe and meaningful. Let us continue to prepare our hearts for the upcoming fiesta! Viva!

Our journey of faith and fellowship was a tapestry of devotion and celebration, beginning with a solemn procession and a meditative Taizé prayer. These moments set a beautiful tone for our cultural night and award ceremony, where we showcased community talent and heritage. We were moved by the powerful performance of our special guest, MMA dancer, who showcased the synergy between discipline and grace.

The experience was enriched by the wisdom of our guest speakers, Fr. Ezekiel Bautista Gamboa, OFM, and Mr. Oliver Delantar. To crown this gathering, we met the rising sun with a spirit of renewal during a dawn mass presided over by Fr. Rex Hidalgo. We leave with grateful hearts, carrying the lessons of faith, the beauty of our culture, and the warmth of our community into the days ahead.

Vicarial Youth Day participants experienced a “𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦” with Foster Families, building faith across generations through prayer, shared meals, and rest. Huge thank you to our incredible foster families for opening your doors and your hearts to us. You’ve shown us that the Church is one big, beautiful family!

The 𝘝𝘠𝘋 2026 festivities officially commenced with an opening program defined by a 𝘝𝘠𝘋 2026 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. The atmosphere was charged with school spirit as participants engaged in competitions that tested both athletic prowess and intellectual depth. On the courts, teams showcased intense coordination in 𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘺𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘰𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭, while the academic arenas saw students demonstrating mental sharpness during the 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘻 𝘣𝘦𝘦.
