Apay Iton, Amay Azon, at Mamay Ezing — ang mga taong nagsilbing pundasyon ng aming pananampalataya at debosyon. Sila ang mga nagpasimula ng pagpapatayo para kay Ama tatlumpung taon na ang nakalilipas, na hanggang ngayon ay patuloy na nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa aming komunidad.

Ang “Agony in the Garden” ay isa sa mga kauna-unahang santo sa Parokya ng Our Lady of Solitude sa Tambo, Buhi — isang patunay ng matibay na paniniwala at pagkakaisa ng mga naunang henerasyon.

Dalangin namin ang patuloy ninyong mabuting kalusugan, mas mahabang buhay, at mas marami pang taon na makasama. Nawa’y patuloy kayong pagpalain at ingatan ng Diyos sa bawat araw. 🙏✨

The stillness of the garden, beneath the quiet night sky, He knelt in prayer—carrying a weight no one else could bear. In that moment of deep agony, He felt fear, sorrow, and pain, yet He chose to surrender. “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

This Good Friday, we are reminded that even in our darkest moments—when the burden feels too heavy and the path too painful—we are never alone. His agony speaks of a love so profound, a sacrifice so pure, that it changed the course of humanity forever.

The garden was not just a place of suffering, but a place of obedience, trust, and unwavering faith. It teaches us that true strength is found in surrender, and true love is proven through sacrifice.

As we reflect today, may we learn to bring our own struggles into prayer, to trust in God’s greater plan, and to say yes even when it is difficult. Because just like the garden led to the cross, and the cross led to redemption—our pain, too, has a purpose.

In His agony, we find hope. In His surrender, we find grace. In His love, we find salvation.
