The Diocese of Baguio Commission on Youth invites all young people to an evening of deep reflection, communal song, and spiritual renewal.

In the midst of our busy lives, let us gather as one diocesan community to encounter the Lord in the silence of our hearts. Our Taizé Prayer & Orientation Activity is a space for you to breathe, pray, and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

The community gathered to commemorate the Passion, death and Resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. This three day celebration were presided by 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑭𝒓. 𝑨𝒃𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝑫𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒔 at San Isidro Labrador Parish, Abatan, Buguias, Benguet.

Highlights included the Washing of the Feet and Adoration at the Altar of Repose on Maundy Thursday; the Stations of the Cross and the Veneration of the Cross on Good Friday, where in homily reminded the faithful that, like Simon of Cyrene, may we able to carry the crosses of others, lessen their burdens even as we carry our own.

On Black Saturday and during the Easter Vigil, we celebrated the Lucernarium, the blessing of the fire, and the renewal of our Baptismal Vows. A moving reflection during the homily spoke of the three darkness of our lives—the darkness of the past, the present, and the uncertainties of the future. These "What Ifs" tempt us but we are called to turn toward the light because we have received the light of mercy and forgiveness given to us by Jesus Christ by His Resurrection.

Rev. Fr. Abner concluded the ceremonies with heartfelt gratitude to our Parish Priest, Parochial Vicar, and all the parishioners of San Isidro Labrador for the beautiful celebrations during this Paschal Triduum.

Your unwavering dedication and active participation has made these sacred days special and spiritually uplifting. May the grace of the Risen Jesus Christ be with you all!

The community gathered for the solemn Blessing and Eucharistic Celebration of our new chapel. The liturgy was presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Rafael T. Cruz, D.D., Bishop of Baguio, who was assisted by Rev. Fr. Marion Joseph Nebres. The celebration was concelebrated by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Raymund Songyap, along with our Parochial Vicar Rev. Fr. Dante Golonan. They were joined by Rev. Fr. John Parduo, Rev. Fr. Loren William and Rev. Fr. Abner Dalilis.

Following the Holy Mass, the faithful joined a community "salo-salo" and a joyful program to mark this historic milestone. The event concluded with a final blessing from the Parish Priest.

Rev. Fr. Raymundo expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the parishioners and benefactors who supported the chapel’s construction. Reflecting on his first major construction project, he thanked all who offered their time, talent, and resources to bring this sacred space to completion. ("Awan ti malabasan").
