In John 17:18, Jesus says, "As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world."

Sabbath is not a disruption of our mission. It is the fuel for it. When we intentionally stop, unplug, and rest, we are declaring that the success of the mission depends on God, not on our striving.

Step away from the noise today. Receive His peace. Recharge your soul. You are sent into the world, but you must first be filled by the One who sends you. May you have a spirit-filled Sabbath.
