The Dullas Clan and Patron Saint Apo San Miguel (St Michael Archangel)…

An oral history tale tells a story of two(2) DULLAS brothers – MARIANO AND SALUDONIO migrated from the Visayas to Luzon (Botolan, Zambales).
MARIANO Dullas married Angelina Deliquiña and had 8 children namely:
AMBROSIO married to Emiliana EBIT.
ANAZARIO married to Basilia DUARNA (Jacinta Salazar – 2nd wife)
SANTIAGO married to Juana SARMIENTO
SIMPROZO – Unmarried
CASTORA married to Sixto DIÑOSO,
GERARDA married to Dominico DIONO,
LEONORA married to Sixto DUMAPLIN
and AQUILINO married to Teodora DALIPOSA.
What about the SALUDONIO Bloodline…?
It was believed that a curse was upon the Dullas forefathers as a punishment for their mischief, 2 descendant-brothers suffered mental illness. The miraculous cure and recovery from the disease reinforced their faith in the Divine intervention which eventually led them to adopt a family patron saint - San Miguel Archangel - a spiritual warrior in the battle of good versus evil. He is considered a champion of justice, a healer of the sick, and the guardian of the Church
In present times and tradition, Apo San Miguel celebration of faith is annually held every 8th of May hosted by a selected family.
