Faith, Contentment, and Generosity
A Reflections from Yesterday's Sermon

Indeed, a great reminder and challenge for this week.
"Contentment is a great gain."
"Storing treasures in heaven = more credit on your account"

Sa lahat ng season ng buhay - paghihirap, kaguluhan, kasaganaan - piliin pa rin ang CONTENTMENT. Despite everything, God is enough.

When we hold fast to His promises, we learn to shift our focus from earthly gain to storing up treasures in heaven.
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
— Philippians 4:19

3 things we can learn here
Giving is a/an ....
1. Fragrance offering
2. Acceptable Sacrifice
3. Pleasing God

OFFERING?
"If you give freely, ...voluntarily. with joy, with a cheerful heart, if you give to the Lord, God will be happy. That is OFFERING. "

Brethren, let us challenge ourselves this week to evaluate our hearts and change our attitude toward giving. May our lives and our offerings be pleasing in His sight! 🙌❤️

Numbers 4:15
After Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy furnishings and all the holy articles, and when the camp is ready to move, only then are the Kohathites to come and do the carrying. But they must not touch the holy things or they will die. The Kohathites are to carry those things that are in the tent of meeting.

Story: 2 Samuel 6:1-11
We can learn two things from here.
1. Honor God.
Do not lose reverence through familiarity.
Wag nating kakalimutan na the God we are worshipping is holy.

2. Carry God’s presence.
Carry His presence wherever you go.

Three truths about God’s presence:
- Presence of God leads us to joy and celebration.
- Presence of Gid brings blessings.
- Presence of God reminds us of Jesus’ sacrifice.
