We began our day with a Year-End Recollection at the churchโ€”a moment of silence, prayer, and gratitude as we looked back on the year with thankful hearts.

After that, we headed to Mabaroca for our Christmas & Year-End Party, filled with laughter, games, and joyful moments shared together.

Indeed, it was a day of faith, fellowship, and fun with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Youth Ministryโ€”ending the year grateful and hopeful for whatโ€™s ahead.

Isang masayang pagbabalik-tanaw at pagninilay sa isa sa pinakamahalagang tradisyon ng Paskong Pilipinoโ€”ang Simbang Gabi.
Hindi lang ito tungkol sa maagang paggising o pagtupad ng pamahiin, kundi isang espiritwal na paghahanda sa pagsilang ni Hesus. Sa bawat Misa, tayo ay inaanyayahang manatiling gising sa pananampalataya, tapat sa panalangin, at puno ng pag-asa.

Sama-sama nating gawing hindi lang merry, kundi meaningful ang Pasko.

With Godโ€™s grace and our dedication, we successfully presented our performances on the first day of Misa de Gallo. We showcased a meaningful acting of the Birth of Jesus, followed by the joyful caroling of our sakristans and a dance inspired by the National Youth Day Caceres 2025 theme.

In the afternoon until the evening, we continued the celebration by conducting a Taizรฉ Prayer, creating a peaceful space for reflection, worship, and unity among the youth and the community. Indeed, it was a day filled with faith, service, and gratitude to God.

Day 7 โ€“ Light the Flame (Final Day)

Our Youth Ministry Awareness Week came to a close with Light the Flame, a simple yet powerful moment of prayer and reflection led by our youth leader, Mr. Waren Tabado. Before ending the week, we also made the final touches to the chapel decorations, completing our preparation for the upcoming celebrations.

As one youth community, we paused, breathed, and allowed our hearts to be still as we reflected on Godโ€™s love, hope, and presence in our lives. The lighting and sharing of the candle reminded us that even one small flame can bring light to darknessโ€”and that our faith is meant to be shared.

As Christmas draws near, we were reminded that God comes close to us not because we are perfect, but because we are deeply loved. In moments when we feel tired, corrected, or unappreciated, this light assured us that God sees our efforts and walks with us always.

As we gently blew out our candles, we carried the light within our heartsโ€”ready to continue serving with love, hope, and faith.

Let us all come together in faith and devotion for our Misa de Gallo (Simbang Gabi) here at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel. Everyone is warmly invited to join the Novena Prayer at 3:30 AM, followed by the Eucharistic Celebration at 4:00 AM.

As we continue our Simbang Gabi journey, let us reflect on the theme โ€œIntegrity for Filipinos in the Year of Hope,โ€ offering our prayers for our families, our community, and our country. May this early morning gathering strengthen our faith and prepare our hearts for Christmas.

Day 6 โ€“ Prayer and Compassion in Service

Day 6 was a moment of reflection and compassion as we gathered in prayer, lifting our intentions for those in needโ€”especially for the people affected by calamities. With hearts united, we asked for strength, healing, and hope for everyone facing difficulties. After our prayers, we continued decorating the church, offering our time and efforts as a sign of faith and service. This day reminded us that true service begins with prayer and is strengthened through action.
