Daily Gospel Reflection | September 23,2026
(Luke 9:1–6)

Today’s Gospel reminds us that we do not need to have everything before we can do something good. Sometimes, we think we need more things, more confidence, or more support before we can help others. But Jesus teaches us to trust God and use what we already have.

As students, we can apply this by helping our classmates, being kind to others, and sharing what we know. Even small actions can make a difference. We also learn that when things do not go as planned, we should not easily give up. We should continue doing what is right and trust that God is guiding us.

Message: Trust God, use what you have, and do good wherever you go.

Daily Gospel Reflection | September 09,2026
(Luke 6:20-26)

In the Gospel we can read that Jesus starts with 4 blessings, then 4 woes. Hes not saying that its a to be rich, full or even happy. What he meant from it is: where is your heart leaning on??

"Blessed are you who are poor, hungry, weeping, and hated"
The world calls them as failure. But Jesus calls is as holy ground, because when we're empty and we reach for Jesus and we ask help from him. When were hurting, we learn to trust God, to trust him, And when were rejected for doing what is right, we remember that we are nit alone, the prophets were rejected too, and also Jesus. But Jesus promised: you will be satisfied, you will laugh, your reward is great in heaven.

"Woe to you who are rich, full, laughing, and praised"
The danger is not having things. The danger is when things have us. When comfort make us forget him, forget God. When applause and cheers makes us forget who gave us everything.

God lift the humble. He fills the hungry. He comforts the weeping. He doesn't call the qualified - he qualifies the ones who call on him.

So today, if you feel low, overlooked, or tired: you are not forgotten. If you feel blessed, be grateful - and stay dependent. Either way, Jesus is calling us back to him.

So let us Trust God more than comfort. Choose Him more than approval. Because in the end, only His "well done" matters.

The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary | September 8,2026

Today, we joyfully celebrate the birthday of our beloved Mama Mary—not simply as a celebration of her birth, but as a reminder of the beautiful role she played in God’s plan of salvation. As Catholics, honoring Mary means more than admiring her; it means learning from her life and allowing her virtues to shape our own.

Mary teaches us the beauty of obedience. When God called her to something she could not fully understand, she trusted and surrendered herself to His will. Her “yes” was not just a word—it was a life of complete obedience to God.

She also teaches us humility. Despite being chosen to become the Mother of our Savior, Mary never sought recognition or glory for herself. She remained humble, pointing everything back to God.

On her birthday, may we not only say, “Happy Birthday, Mama Mary,” but also ask ourselves: Am I willing to obey God even when I do not understand? Am I humble enough to let God work through me without seeking recognition?

May the birthday of Mama Mary remind us that the greatest way to honor her is to imitate her—her obedience, her humility, her faith, and her complete “YES” to God.

Happy Birthday, Mama Mary! Pray for us, that like you, we may always say: “Let it be done to me according to your word.” 🌷💗

(Luke 6:6-11)

Ang atong Ebanghelyo karon naghisgot kung unsa ka maayo ug mahigugmaon ang atong Ginoo. Bisan pa man sa atong pagkamakasasala ug lain-laing mga kinaiya, maayo ug patas gihapon Siya sa paghigugma kanato. Atong nabasa nga giayo Niya ang tawo bisan pa man sa adlawng Igpapahulay, kay nasayod Siya kung unsa ang tinuod nga gikinahanglan sa tawo. Nakita kini sa mga Pariseo ug para kanila, usa kini ka walay respeto kay gibuhat kini Niya sa balaang adlaw. Nagpangita sila og ikasumbong batok kang Jesus aron Siya ilang madakop.

Sa atong kinabuhi, tungod sa mga dili maayong nabuhat sa atong isigkatawo, dali ra kaayo nato malimtan ang ilang kamaayo kay mas naka-focus kita sa ilang mga sayop ug sa dautan nga ilang nabuhat kanato. Apan sa atubangan sa Ginoo, dili unta kita maghukom dayon. Hinuon, atong sabton ug analisahon ang ilang mga aksyon ug ang mga panghitabo, ug hinumduman nga ang matag tawo huyang, makasasala, ug dili perpekto.

Sama kang Jesus, nga wala magpasakop sa mga lagda kung kini makapugong sa pagbuhat og maayo ug pagpakita og gugma, kita usab gitawag nga pilion ang kalooy ug pagkamaayo. “When love calls us to do good, let no rule keep us from it.” Kay usahay, ang tinuod nga paghigugma mao ang pagtan-aw labaw pa sa sayop sa usa ka tawo ug pagpili gihapon sa pagbuhat og maayo.

Daily Gospel Reflection | September 06,2026
(Matthew 18:15-20)

Ang Ebanghelyo karon nagtudlo kanato sa importansya sa pagpasaylo ug panaghiusa. Kon adunay makasala batok kanato, dili kita angay nga modiretso ug mohukom sa atong isigkatawo o mag-istorya bahin sa iyang mga sayop ngadto sa uban. Hinuon, atong istoryahon siya sa husto ug pribadong paagi, uban ang pagsinabtanay ug gugma.

Nagpahinumdom usab kini kanato nga kinahanglan magtinabangay kita ug magtudlo sa usag usa sa angay ug sakto nga paagi, pinaagi sa gugma, pagtahod, ug pagsinabtanay. Kon kitang mga tawo maghiusa ug mag-ampo, ang Ginoo mag-uban kanato.

Tungod niini, ang Ebanghelyo nagtudlo kanato nga hatagan nato ug dakong bili ang kalinaw, pagpasaylo, ug panaghiusa uban sa atong isigkatawo.

Daily Gospel Reflection | September 04,2026
(Luke 5:33–39)

The Gospel reminds us that change is a normal part of life. Sometimes, we get used to our old habits and are afraid to try something new. But Jesus teaches us that we should be open to change, especially when it helps us become better people.

Everyone makes mistakes and faces problems, but what matters is that we learn from them and try to improve. We should not be afraid of starting over or making changes in our lives. We can always choose to do better and become a better version of ourselves.

Message for us: Change may be difficult, but it can help us grow. We should trust God, learn from our experiences, and always try to become better.

Daily Gospel Reflection | September 03,2026
(Luke 5:1-11)

“Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men”

In the gospel we see Peter say, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.”
He said it because he was completely aware of his flaws. He felt unworthy to be near Jesus.

But instead of rejecting him, Jesus assured him: “Do not be afraid. From now on, you will be catching men.”

Jesus gave Peter a duty — not just to catch fish, but to catch people. To call them to follow Jesus and to spread the Word of God.
And that’s how God works. He calls imperfect people to serve Him.

He doesn’t need the perfect ones. He calls those who sin, those who have flaws, because He wants to make us perfect for Him. He calls us to improve ourselves for Him.

Peter, James, and John left everything to follow Jesus. Even though they were sinners and made mistakes, Jesus still chose them to catch men who are also sinners.
This encourages us today.

Let us not be afraid because we are sinners. Instead, let this be our motivation to improve. Through this duty of serving God and sharing His Word, the weight of being a sinner can slowly be lessened.
May the word “sinner” in us be replaced with “holy.” So that soon, after we die, we can be saints who enjoy the afterlife with joy and with God.

May God fill our nets with Love, Blessings, and assurance.
May we never be afraid anymore because we have Him.

May God help us leave what we need to leave — leave the past, leave the pain, and leave the unnecessary things we did — so we can follow Him freely.

Daily Gospel Reflection | September 02,2026
(Luke 4:38-44)

Brothers and sisters, today’s Gospel is about Jesus healing people.
After Jesus healed Simon’s mother-in-law, many people came to Him with different kinds of sickness and problems.
He did not reject them. He welcomed the sick, drove out demons, and showed that the Kingdom of God is not just words, but a presence that heals and transforms lives.

But the Gospel does not end with these miracles.
Early in the morning, He went to a lonely place to pray.
Then the people found Him and wanted to keep Him from leaving.
But Jesus said, “I must also proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God to other towns.”

Here we see the pastoral love of God.
We can grow to love one person, one place, one group, one ministry, or one ordinary Christian. We all have a place that we love.
But our calling is bigger than just one place.
True service is not about going where we feel comfortable, but where God sends us.

It’s nice to receive grace the way we want it —
We want the Lord to heal our problems, bless our family, remove our worries, and give us what we want.
But once we receive that grace, what do we do next?
After I am helped, who will I help?
After I am forgiven, who will I forgive?
After I am strengthened, who will I strengthen?

That is the challenge for each of us.
The person who was healed becomes a caregiver.
The person who was forgiven becomes one who forgives.
The person who was sought by God becomes one who seeks the lost.
And the person who received the Good News becomes one who shares it with others.

The one touched by God is also called to be an instrument of service.

Daily Gospel Reflection | August 17,2026
(Matthew 19:16-21)

Brothers and sisters in Christ, do you want to become righteous in the eyes of the Lord? Today’s Gospel speaks about the commandments of God and how we are called to follow them in order to gain eternal life. But following God is not only about obeying His commandments, it also means turning away all our things that distance us from Him. Like the man in the Gospel who asked Jesus what he must do to gain eternal life, we are also called to examine our lives and ask ourselves if we are truly following God.

Brothers and sisters, following the Lord is not always easy. There will be struggles, sacrifices, and things that we need to let go of. Sometimes, we may have to give up things that we love or are comfortable with because they are keeping us away from God. Our journey toward eternal life requires faith, sacrifice, and perseverance. The things we let go of are not taken away because God wants to deprive us of happiness, but because He wants to lead us toward something greater, the eternal life with Him.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, do not be afraid to let go of the things that distance you from the Lord. Even when the journey becomes difficult, do not lose hope. Remember that you are never alone in following God. His grace is always with us, and He continues to guide us toward the right path. So, keep going, keep trusting, and keep following Him. Sometimes, the very thing that is difficult for us to let go of may be the very thing that brings us closer to God.
