This season, try natin:
✨ Less distractions
🙏 More prayer
đź’¬ More kindness
❤️ More real connection with God

Hindi kailangan perfect — ang mahalaga, willing.
Tara, start small. Start sincere. Start today.

Roses are red, violets are blue — but the greatest love story is still true. ❤️

This Valentine’s Day, let’s go beyond chocolates and flowers. Real love is patient, kind, forgiving, and faithful — the kind of love that starts with God and flows through us to others.

Date idea: Pray together. Serve together. Love better.

Single, taken, or “it’s complicated” — you are already deeply loved. Never forget that. ✨

FEB11| World day of the sick
Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial

Today the Church observes the Memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes, commemorating the first appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1858 to fourteen-year-old Marie Bernadette (St. Bernadette) Soubirous.

From February 11 to July 16 of that year, Mary appeared to her eighteen times in a rocky grotto at Lourdes.

On March 25, she revealed her identity to the young shepherdess, saying, “I am the Immaculate Conception.”

Since then, Lourdes has become a major pilgrimage site where many people have experienced healing and spiritual renewal.

The message of Lourdes encourages repentance, prayer, and acts of charity.

St. John Paul II also declared February 11 as the World Day of the Sick — a dedicated occasion for prayer and solidarity, for offering personal suffering for the good of the Church, and for recognizing the presence of Christ in those who are ill, remembering that through His suffering, death, and resurrection, humanity received salvation.

LENT 2026: A SEASON OF REFLECTION, PENANCE, AND RENEWAL
Lent is a sacred time in the Church to prepare our hearts for Easter. It is a season of prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and spiritual renewal, helping us reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and grow closer to God.

Sundays of Lent 2026:
1st Sunday of Lent: February 22, 2026 – A time to begin our journey of repentance and conversion.

2nd Sunday of Lent: March 1, 2026 – Reflect on God’s promises and strengthen our faith.

3rd Sunday of Lent: March 8, 2026 – Focus on turning away from sin and returning to God.

4th Sunday of Lent (Laetare Sunday): March 15, 2026 – A joyful pause in Lent, reminding us of God’s mercy.

5th Sunday of Lent: March 22, 2026 – Renew commitment to prayer, fasting, and service.

Palm Sunday: March 29, 2026 – Celebrates Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem and begins Holy Week.

Paschal Triduum 2026:
Maundy Thursday: April 2, 2026 – Commemorates the Last Supper and the institution of the Eucharist.

Good Friday: April 3, 2026 – Remember Christ’s Passion and death on the cross.

Holy Saturday: April 4, 2026 – A day of waiting and prayer, preparing for the Resurrection.

Easter Sunday: April 5, 2026 – Celebrate Christ’s Resurrection, the victory of life over death.

As we journey through this holy season, may our hearts be open to God’s grace. Let this Lent be a time of true reflection, sincere repentance, and renewed love for Christ, so that we may celebrate Easter with joy, hope, and faith.

FEBRUARY 01, 2026 | GOSPEL

Gospel: Matthew 5:1–12a
Jesus went up the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. He taught them, saying:

Blessed are the poor in spirit, the meek, and those who mourn,
for the kingdom of heaven is theirs, they shall inherit the land, and they will be comforted.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, the pure of heart, and the peacemakers,
for they shall receive mercy, see God, and be called children of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great.
