🕊️ Why Anointing with Oil Matters 🕊️

Anointing with oil is not a ritual—it is an act of obedience and faith.

In the Bible, oil represents the Holy Spirit, consecration, healing, and God’s covering. When we are anointed, we are declaring that our trust is not in the oil itself, but in the power of God who responds to faith-filled prayer.

📖 James 5:14–15
“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.”

Anointing is important because:
• It humbles us before God
• It aligns us with His Word
• It invites His healing and restoration
• It reminds us that our lives belong to Him
