Today, we joyfully and gratefully celebrate the 25th Episcopal Ordination Anniversary of His Excellency, Most Rev. Sofronio A. Bancud, SSS, DD,
Bishop-Emeritus of Cabanatuan.
With hearts full of thanksgiving, we praise God for the gift of your faithful shepherding, humble leadership, and unwavering dedication to the Church throughout the past 25 years of episcopal ministry. Your profound love for the Most Holy Eucharist has been a source of inspiration to countless faithful, continually drawing them closer to Christ, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Through your witness of Eucharistic devotion, pastoral charity, and selfless service, you have helped strengthen the faith of God's people and encouraged many to live lives centered on the Eucharist.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the life and ministry of Bishop Ronnie. We are especially grateful for his faithful witness to the mystery of the Holy Eucharist and for leading Your people to a deeper love and reverence for Your Son in the Blessed Sacrament. Continue to fill him with Your wisdom, strength, and peace. Grant him good health, renewed joy, and abundant grace as he continues to proclaim Your love. May the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas of Tolentine intercede for him, and may the Holy Spirit always guide and sustain him. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
