154 Years of Faithful “Stabant et Volabant” | 25 Years of Religious Profession

On this 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Family of the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales joyfully celebrates two significant milestones of faith, vocation, and faithful service.

We commemorate the 154th anniversary of the founding of the Congregation of the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales, founded in 1872 by Fr. Carlo Cavina in the humble town of Lugo, Ravenna, Italy. Inspired by the motto “STABANT ET VOLABANT”—to “stay” at the feet of the Lord and to “fly” wherever He calls—the congregation continues to witness to God’s mercy, compassion, and love.

Today, we also give thanks for the 25th Religious Profession Anniversary of Sr. Marlene B. Dimaano, DSFS. For twenty-five years, she has faithfully responded to God’s call, remaining steadfast at the feet of the Lord and generously going wherever He sends her. May her vocation continue to be a beautiful testimony of faith, love, and humble service.

Our Eucharistic Celebration is presided over by Most Rev. Napoleon B. Sipalay, O.P., D.D., Bishop of Alaminos, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Eduardo E. Inacay, Parish Priest; Rev. Fr. Francis B. Abella, Parochial Vicar; Rev. Fr. Roque Lito Orate; and Rev. Fr. Guerrero C.

May the Lord continue to bless the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales and strengthen Sr. Marlene in her mission of faithful service.

UPDATE ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BELL HOUSE

The construction of the Bell House continues as we prepare a dignified and fitting home for the original bells of our parish, which will soon be brought down from the bell tower. We are deeply grateful to all the generous souls who have already expressed their support for this meaningful project. Your generosity is helping preserve a precious part of our parish's history and devotion.

To help us complete this project, we invite everyone to join our fundraising initiative, "Ipon Ko Para sa Kampana ni Señor Santiago: A Fundraising for the Parish Bell."

Alkansiya are now available at the parish. Once you have filled your alkansiya, you may offer it personally during Holy Mass as your humble contribution for the completion of the Bell House.

Every coin, every offering, and every act of generosity brings us closer to giving the bells of Señor Santiago a worthy home. May God bless every generous heart that continues to support this project.

UPDATE ON THE RENOVATION OF THE PARISH HALL

As of now, the second floor is almost complete, and we are grateful to God for the progress we have made. We will now proceed with the renovation of the first floor.

We sincerely thank all the generous souls who have extended their support, prayers, and assistance for this project. Your generosity has brought us closer to completing this much-needed renovation.

To help us complete the renovation, another fundraising initiative is now being held through the RAFFLE FOR A CAUSE.

Serving Through Compassion and Faith

Today, August 16, 2026, the St. James the Great Parish, through the initiation of the Knights of Columbus, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Bolinao, came together for a meaningful Medical Mission Project dedicated to bringing healthcare, compassion, and hope to our brothers and sisters in the community.

Held at the Senior Santiago Learning Center Covered Court, the mission provided free medical consultations and medicines through the generous service of volunteer healthcare professionals from various fields, including Ophthalmology, OB-GYN, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Pediatrics.

This meaningful mission is a beautiful reminder that our faith is best expressed not only through prayer, but also through love, generosity, compassion, and service to others.

“In service to one, in service to all.”

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Knights of Columbus, the Local Government Unit of Bolinao, our volunteer doctors and healthcare professionals, organizers, benefactors, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this mission a success.

May this day of service continue to inspire us to become instruments of God’s love and healing in our community.

With joyful hearts, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a beautiful reminder of Mary’s faithful “Yes” to God and the glory prepared for those who remain faithful to Him.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, assumed body and soul into Heaven, continue to intercede for us, strengthen our faith, and guide us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. May her humility, obedience, and unwavering trust in God inspire us to faithfully follow His will in our own lives.

MEDICAL MISSION PROJECT
