“Kung kalooban ng Diyos…”

If it’s God’s will, it will happen.

When something is meant for you, God aligns every detail, not always instantly, not always in the way you expect, but always with purpose.

He gives you peace in the waiting, strength in the uncertainty, and clarity when the time is right.

Sometimes the path looks unclear… sometimes the doors stay closed… but if it’s His will, no one and nothing can stop what He has prepared for you.

And if it’s not His will, He redirects you toward something better, something that fits His perfect plan.

So keep trusting Him, even when things don’t make sense.

His timing is never late, and His plans are always worth the wait 🙇🏻☝🏻

His name was called.

Barabbas.

A man guilty beyond doubt...a rebel, a criminal, a life marked by violence and sin. Chains on his wrists. A cross with his name on it. A sentence he deserved. He woke up that morning knowing how his story would end. Death.

But then… something unexpected happened.

A crowd began to shout. Not for justice...but for a trade. “Release Barabbas!”

Imagine the confusion in his heart. The shock. The disbelief. Why him? Why would they choose a guilty man…over an innocent One? And then he saw Him. Jesus.

Bruised. Silent. Holy. Standing where Barabbas should have stood. The crowd grew louder, “Crucify Him!” And just like that… the verdict changed.

Barabbas was unchained. Jesus was condemned. The guilty walked free. The innocent was led to die. Can you feel the weight of that moment?

Barabbas didn’t earn that freedom. He didn’t beg for it. He didn’t deserve it. He simply received what someone else took for him. That’s the Gospel and we are Barabbas.

We were the ones with chains on our wrists...bound by sin, marked by guilt, headed toward judgment. And Jesus stepped in. He didn’t argue the exchange. He didn’t resist the cross with our name on it. He took it.

Every lash. Every nail. Every drop of blood...was meant for us.

And just like Barabbas, we’re standing here today… free. Not because we’re innocent. But because He took our place. I wonder… did Barabbas look back? Did he watch Jesus carry that cross? Did he realize the weight of what had just happened?

And what about us? We’ve been set free, but do we live like we understand the cost? Or have we walked away…forgetting the Man

who stayed?

Barabbas was given a second chance. So were you and I. The question is, what will you do with the freedom that cost Jesus everything? ❤️‍🔥

GOOD FRIDAY/ HOLY DAY

Good Friday can be called “good” because of the results of Christ’s death on the cross. Jesus’ sacrifice was a demonstration of God’s love for us (Romans 5:8). Through Jesus’ death, we can have peace with God: “While we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son” (Romans 5:10). As 1 Peter 3:18 says, “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God” (NLT).

Share this to let others know why must we remember why it is good.

Maundy Thursday commemorates 2 important events in the ministry of Jesus. The first event is Jesus’ institution of the Lord’s Supper (The Last Supper of Jesus Christ), or communion (Luke 22:19–20). The second event that remains the focus of Maundy Thursday is Jesus’ washing the disciples’ feet. His act of humility and service set an example for us to love and serve one another in humility (John 13:3–17).

Maundy means mandate, a command to all believers and followers of Jesus Christ to remember and set example to other beings.

The parable of the Jesus : the rich fool (Luke 12:13-21)

This story reminds us that life does not consist in an abundance of possession. Unlike how the world standard: “what you have defines your importance”. Something that others might have forgotten. The Lord owns everything. We are only borrowers/stewards of these all we have.

The big question is who are we without these possession? We are children of God. Remind yourself it’s not about how many I have. But who I am to my God even in the small or big of what I have.

Have a blessed day!
