ANG PASKO NG ISANG PARI

Pasko na naman.

Sa araw na ito, ipinagdiriwang natin ang kapanganakan ni Hesus na kasama ang buong pamilya—nagsasalo sa hapag na may ngiti sa labi bawat isa. Madalas, nagbibigayan pa ng mga regalo, nagyayakapan, kalakip ang pagbati na may kasamang pagmamahal. Sama-samang nagsisimba upang pasalamatan ang Panginoon sa bawat biyayang natanggap sa buong taon. Ang mga pangyayaring ito ay madalas na taliwas sa karanasan ng ilan sa atin gaya na lamang ng mga ofw, call center agents, mga nurses at iba pang frontliners na mas inuuna ang kapakanan ng iba kaysa kanilang sarili. Maliban sa kanila, may iba pang tao na nakararanas ng mga pagkawalay sa pamilya sa Pasko—ang mga pari.

Marahil, nagsimba ka ngayon at nakita mo sila na masayang idinadaos ang misa gaya kung paano nila idinaos ang Simbang Gabi na hindi iniinda ang puyat. Ngunit sa likod ng mga ngiting ito ay ang katotohanang isa na namang pasko ang magdaraan na hindi nila kasama ang kanilang pamilya.

Kalakip ng pagtugon ng mga pari sa bokasyon ang kahandahan nilang kalimutan ang kanilang sarili—kasama na rito ang pagsasakripisyo nila na hindi makasama ang pamilya tuwing may okasyon na gaya na lamang ng Pasko.

Tunay na malamig ang simoy ng hangin tuwing Disyembre, gayunpaman, hindi kailanman lumalamig ang pasko ng isang pari sapagkat kasama nila si Kristo na Siyang yumakap at tumanggap sa kanila.

Nawa'y ipakita natin ang pagmamahal sa papapamigitan ng pagdarasal para sa mga pari, mga madre, mga seminarista at iba pang piniling tugunan ang tawag ng Panginoon kahit na kapalit nito ang kasiyahang mararanasan nila kasama ang kanilang pamilya sa araw ng kapaskuhan.

CELEBRATION OF THE CHAPEL BLESSING AND SOLEMN EUCHARIST OF SAINT VALENTINE CHAPEL

A day of immense grace as we celebrate the blessing and Solemn Mass of the Saint Valentine Chapel.

On December 11, a Chapel Blessing and Solemn Mass was solemnly celebrated at Saint Valentine Chapel in Purok 3- Catubig.

The afternoon began as the community of Catubig was filled with radiant joy and spiritual fervor as the faithful warmly welcomed our beloved Bishop, Most Reverend Napoleon Sipalay Jr., OP. D.D , Bishop of the Diocese of Alaminos for his Chapel blessing and Solemn Mass of Saint Valentine Chapel.
During the short program , Mrs. Genelyn Ocon - Barangay Pastoral Leader President , expressed deep gratitude for the Bishop's presence, noting his leadership as an inspiration for spiritual growth.

After the program, A milestone was reached for the Catholic community as the formal signing of the Deed of Donation of the Saint Valentine Chapel took place.
The signing was witnessed by local community leaders and members of the parish council, ensuring that the property is perpetually dedicated for religious and communal use.
During the signing, the Donee , Mr. Ramon Cacho Jr. expressed that the donation was an act of "faith and love for the community," intended to provide a permanent home for the faithful.
In response,Rev. Fr. Jorem Bellen, RCJ. , Bishop Napoleon Sipalay Jr. OP., D.D accepted the donation with sincere appreciation and gratitude, noting that such generosity is the foundation upon which the chapel stands.

After the ceremonial signing , The celebration began with the rite of chapel blessing, led by His Excellency Napoleon Sipalay Jr. OP ., D.D. along with our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jorem Bellen, RCJ. and Rev. Father Giovanni Gamaya, RCJ., Parochial Vicar.

Following the chapel blessing, a Solemn Mass was celebrated.

The Chapel Blessing and Solemn Mass marked a profound spiritual milestone, transforming the humble space into a beacon of prayer and a sanctuary for love and unity, echoing the spirit of our patron saint, St. Valentine.

May this sacred space always be a dwelling place of love, a place of welcome, and a place of service for everyone who seeks the Lord.

LOOK | At 10:30 a.m., the Purok 3 community, along with the Barangay Council, Purok Officers, and mandated organizations, participated in a brief and purposeful meeting together with our Parish Priest,Rev.Fr. Jorem Bellen, RCJ. to prepare for the church blessing scheduled for December 11,
to be presided over by Bishop Sipalay.

They collaborated by sharing ideas, addressing concerns, aligning responsibilities, and coming together with a shared purpose to create a significant and well-structured celebration that will enhance the faith and unity of the community.

HONORING THE BLESSED MOTHER: A SPIRIT FILLED CULMINATION OF THE HOLY ROSARY



The Parish of The Our Lady of the Pillar expressed the vibrant faith and Marian devotion of the community as we culminated the holy month of the Holy Rosary through a significant celebration together with the various mandated organizations and ministries of the Parish held in Saint Michael the Archangel Chapel, Catubig – Purok 2 on October 31.



The celebration began with a holy mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Jorem Bellen, RCJ ,. In his homily, Fr. Jorem emphasized the significance of the rosary in our everyday lives and reminded us of mothers' love for us, their children, and their constant help whenever we need it.

Following the mass, the community convened at St. Michael’s grounds for a living rosary, serving as a moment of shared spiritual lifeline for a community, offering strength and unity.

Through this culminating activity, the Our Lady of Pillar Parish once again witnessed a strong faith celebrating true essence of honoring the Blessed Mother.

May the Holy Rosary unite us in prayer, hope, and love as one family in Christ. May this profound act of devotion continue to inspire and strengthen our community, expressing our love for our Mother and our Lord.
