CELEBRATION OF THE CHAPEL BLESSING AND SOLEMN EUCHARIST OF SAINT VALENTINE CHAPEL
A day of immense grace as we celebrate the blessing and Solemn Mass of the Saint Valentine Chapel.
On December 11, a Chapel Blessing and Solemn Mass was solemnly celebrated at Saint Valentine Chapel in Purok 3- Catubig.
The afternoon began as the community of Catubig was filled with radiant joy and spiritual fervor as the faithful warmly welcomed our beloved Bishop, Most Reverend Napoleon Sipalay Jr., OP. D.D , Bishop of the Diocese of Alaminos for his Chapel blessing and Solemn Mass of Saint Valentine Chapel.
During the short program , Mrs. Genelyn Ocon - Barangay Pastoral Leader President , expressed deep gratitude for the Bishop's presence, noting his leadership as an inspiration for spiritual growth.
After the program, A milestone was reached for the Catholic community as the formal signing of the Deed of Donation of the Saint Valentine Chapel took place.
The signing was witnessed by local community leaders and members of the parish council, ensuring that the property is perpetually dedicated for religious and communal use.
During the signing, the Donee , Mr. Ramon Cacho Jr. expressed that the donation was an act of "faith and love for the community," intended to provide a permanent home for the faithful.
In response,Rev. Fr. Jorem Bellen, RCJ. , Bishop Napoleon Sipalay Jr. OP., D.D accepted the donation with sincere appreciation and gratitude, noting that such generosity is the foundation upon which the chapel stands.
After the ceremonial signing , The celebration began with the rite of chapel blessing, led by His Excellency Napoleon Sipalay Jr. OP ., D.D. along with our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jorem Bellen, RCJ. and Rev. Father Giovanni Gamaya, RCJ., Parochial Vicar.
Following the chapel blessing, a Solemn Mass was celebrated.
The Chapel Blessing and Solemn Mass marked a profound spiritual milestone, transforming the humble space into a beacon of prayer and a sanctuary for love and unity, echoing the spirit of our patron saint, St. Valentine.
