Ang salitang “Laetare” ay galing sa Latin na ibig sabihin ay “Magalak” o “Rejoice.” 😊

Bakit may “Laetare Sunday” sa gitna ng Lent?
Ang Lent ay panahon ng pagsisisi, pag-aayuno, at paghahanda para sa Easter.
Pero sa ika-apat na Linggo ng Kuwaresma, may sandaling pahinga at kagalakan dahil papalapit na ang Pasko ng Pagkabuhay.

Magalak tayo dahil ang Diyos ay patuloy na nagmamahal at nagpapatawad.

Ngayong ika-apat na Linggo ng Lent, tayo ay inaanyayahang magalak sa pag-ibig at awa ng Diyos.
Halina at magsimba tayo, magpasalamat, at magbalik-loob sa Panginoon.
Ang Diyos ay hindi nang-iiwan. Lahat tayo ay may pag-asang maayos at mabago.
