Good day fellow Boholanos, I know we are all saddened and still in shock for what happen to our brothers and sisters in Luzon due to typhoon Ulysses. The typhoon caused a great devastation not just physically but also emotionally. They were all greatly affected. We've seen posts from social media, seen news in television and hearing it from radios the destruction it caused. They were all vulnerable and need our help.

We, Missionary Families of Christ- Youth Bohol is knocking to your kind hearts to extend our helping hand to the victims of the typhoon. As a survivor of the earthquake, may we help the typhoon victims for them to survive these trying times. We are working together with these two ladies, Hanzel and Sweet kay sila ang ga lead ania nga project.

Rest assured that your donations will be in good hands and will be sent to the typhoon victims thru the help of 2nd Infantry Division Philippine Army Ladies. ( 2nd Infantry Jungle Fighter Division )

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING POSTPONEMENT OF WYC 2020
Christ peace be with you all!
This year, God is calling us to set ourselves solidly on Him that we may endure the winds, rains and floods that may come our way. As Missionary Families of Christ – Youth, we respond to this call through the theme “Built Strong” for our World Youth Congress 2020.
However, as much as we want to proceed with our World Youth Congress 2020 on April 17-19, 2020 at the Albay Astrodome, we would like to inform you that we will be postponing the congress until further notice given the situation that is happening locally and around the world.
With the spirit of discernment along with the Servant Council, the following factors were considered in the said postponement:
1. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 as a Pandemic, escalating the gravity of this disease.
2. The DOH, DFA, DILG, DOJ, DOLE, DOT, DOTr, DICT have released a joint Resolution Order No. 11 Series of 2020. In this resolution, item B no. 2 states that mass gatherings, defined as planned or spontaneous event where number of people attending could strain the planning and response resources of the community hosting the event shall be prohibited during said period.
3. The Governor of Albay has released an Executive Order No. 7 Series of 2020 wherein section 7 states that activities involving a crowd, fiesta celebration, seminars, workshops, conferences, and the like are suspended until lifted except seminars related to COVID-19.
4. The Bishop of Legazpi, Albay has also advised for the postponement of the congress.
With these factors, it is our top priority that the health and safety of our youth and coordinators are assured. Because of this, we shall be cooperating with the precautions and recommendations of our government until safety is assured to conduct the WYC later in the year.
For those who have already paid for their registration, this will still be honored as your payment once the date of our WYC has been finalized. We will release another memo regarding this.
We seek for your understanding regarding this matter. Let us continue to pray for those who have been affected by the outbreak and for the safety of everyone.
