"This is not the test of what we have, this is a test of faith." β€” Fr. Franz

Sunday Holy Mass, presided by Fr. Joseph Franz Dizon reminded us that faith is revealed not in what we possess, but in how we continue to trust God amid life's trials.

In today's Gospel, we witnessed how even Jesus, in His moment of sorrow, chose to pray. It is a reminder that although we grow weary and carry burdens of our own, we should never stop moving forward in faith. Like Christ, may we always seek strength through prayer and entrust everything to the Lord.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated lectors and commentator for their faithful service during today's celebration:

HOLY SATURDAY | April 4, 2026

Today, we observe Holy Saturday, a day of silence, waiting, and hope as we reflect on the time when our Lord Jesus Christ lay in the tomb.

In this sacred pause, we are invited to enter into stillnessβ€”remembering that even in moments of darkness and uncertainty, God is at work. It is a day that teaches us trust: that after suffering comes redemption, and after death comes new life.

As we await the joy of the Resurrection, may we remain steadfast in faith, holding on to the promise that light will overcome darkness. May this solemn day prepare our hearts to rejoice in the victory of Christ and renew our hope in His everlasting love.

Today, we solemnly observe Good Friday, a day of deep reflection on the Passion and Death of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We remember His ultimate sacrifice on the crossβ€”an act of boundless love and mercy for the salvation of all. In His suffering, we find the true meaning of obedience, forgiveness, and self-giving love.

As we continue our journey through the Sacred Triduum, may we be called to embrace our own crosses with faith, trust in God’s will, and extend compassion to others.

May this sacred day lead us to a deeper
understanding of Christ’s love and a renewed commitment to live in His grace. †

Today, we commemorate Maundy Thursday, marking the beginning of the Sacred Triduum.

We reflect on the Last Supper of our Lord Jesus Christ, where He gave us the Eucharist and showed the true meaning of humility and service through the washing of the disciples’ feet.

As we journey through these sacred days, may we be reminded to love selflessly, serve wholeheartedly, and remain faithful in times of trial.
