There are moments when the feeling comes fast.
You want to answer the message.
Raise your voice.
Defend yourself.
Say yes because you feel pressured.
Go back to what God has been teaching you to leave behind.
But before the feeling leads you, PAUSE.
Bring that moment to God while it is still happening.
Not later, when the damage is done.
Not after the words have already been said.
Right there. Before you respond.
“Lord, help me choose what honors You.”
Breakthrough Discipline isn’t about pretending you never feel anger, pressure, fear, or temptation.
It’s about letting God rule your heart before those feelings rule your response.
Ask Him for strength.
Ask Him for wisdom.
Ask Him to help you obey — even in the small moment no one else sees.
“Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.” — Proverbs 25:28 NIV
