Sept 12 2026 | Talk 3 — Overflowing Gratitude
Talk 3 works through Colossians 2, where Paul warns the Colossian church against "hollow and deceptive philosophy" that would draw them away from Christ. The talk names the ancient "Colossian Heresy" — a mix of idolatrous mysticism and rigid, rule-heavy piety — then shows how the same two temptations reappear today. The resolution is simple: Jesus is enough. The mark of real spiritual growth isn't more rules or more fear, but overflowing gratitude.

There's nothing better than Jesus. Both the ancient heresy and its modern forms — mysticism, rigid rules, viral "wisdom," superstition — offer something added to Christ. Paul's answer is that Christ is enough. Stay rooted in Him, refuse the fear-driven add-ons, and let overflowing gratitude be the evidence of a growing faith 🙏💖✨
