A meaningful and uplifting day at our Elders Quorum & Relief Society Leadership Training held on April 9, 2026, at Bobon Chapel.

From inspired orientation to a deeper review of our sacred responsibilities as leaders, every moment strengthened our commitment to serve with greater love and purpose. The training on ministering, coupled with hands-on role-playing, reminded us that true service is personal, Christlike, and intentional.

We are grateful for the guidance of our leaders and the unity felt throughout the activity. The day ended with joyful games, fellowship, and shared smilesโ€”reminding us that building Zion also means building strong relationships.

โœจ Truly, we are better together in the Lordโ€™s work.

๐ŸŒŠ BOBON 2nd WARD YSA ACTIVITY ๐Ÿ’™
Swimming โ€ข COR Lesson โ€ข Spiritual Upliftment

What a meaningful and refreshing day it has been! From strengthening our spirits to strengthening our bonds, this YSA activity truly reminded us that growth comes not only through learning but also through unity and joy.

Under the guidance of Bishop Franco Batiles, and with the support of dedicated leaders and participants, we were blessed with an inspiring lesson from Fire Officer Allan S. Colapo of the Bureau of Fire Protection, reminding us of the importance of preparednessโ€”both physically and spiritually.

As taught by Dieter F. Uchtdorf:
โ€œTrust the Savior and engage patiently and diligently, in doing your part with all your heart.โ€

And as reminded in Doctrine and Covenants 38:30:
โ€œIf ye are prepared ye shall not fear.โ€

From uplifting hymns to laughter-filled swimming and bonding moments, this day was truly one to remember! ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธโœจ

๐ŸŒŸ YSA FAMILY HOME EVENING HIGHLIGHTS

๐Ÿ“… January 2, 2026 | โฐ 5:00 PM
๐Ÿ“ Brgy. Arellano, Bobon, Northern Samar (Rojoโ€™s Residence)

The YSA Family Home Evening was successfully held in a warm, joyful, and spiritual atmosphere where friendship, faith, and fellowship were truly felt by everyone who attended.

The activity was presided over by Bishop Franco Batiles and conducted by Brother Christopher Evangelista, who ensured that the program flowed smoothly and meaningfully from start to finish.

We began with the uplifting Opening Hymn, โ€œHolding Hands Around the Worldโ€ (Hymn #1011), beautifully led by our chorister, Sister Rosalia Espaldon, followed by the opening prayer offered by Brother Jay Ylagan, inviting the Spirit to be with us throughout the evening.

A thoughtful spiritual thought was shared by Brother Josh Estonanto, reminding the YSAs of the importance of staying close to the Lord and to one another despite the challenges of young adulthood. This was followed by an inspiring lesson delivered by Sister Angela Donor, which strengthened our understanding of faith, personal growth, and responsibility as young single adults in the Church.

The atmosphere then became more lively and fun during the games portion facilitated by Sister Marjorie Ballano. Everyone enjoyed participating in Mahuli Taya and I Will Always Love You, which brought laughter, teamwork, and stronger bonds among the YSAs.

To conclude the program, Bishop Franco Batiles delivered a heartfelt message, encouraging everyone to continue walking in righteousness, supporting one another, and remaining firm in their testimonies.

We closed the evening with the hymn โ€œAdam-ondi-Ahmanโ€ (Hymn #49) and a closing prayer offered by Brother Joshua Oseraos, ending the activity with peace, gratitude, and renewed spiritual strength.

We sincerely thank everyone who attended and helped make this YSA Family Home Evening meaningful and memorable. May we continue to grow together in faith, friendship, and love as we move forward in our individual journeys. ๐Ÿคโœจ

RELIEF SOCIETY HOME MAKING
January 17, 2026

We successfully held a meaningful and well-organized activity, guided by the spirit of unity, service, and faith. Below is a summary of the Program Proper and the key moments that made the event special:

Presiding: Bishop Franco Batiles
Conducting: Sister Lyra Balanquit
Chorister: Sister Merlyn Cornillez
Opening Prayer: Sister Nimfa Casinas
Spiritual Talk: Sister Lyle Cabanday

The program officially opened with a reverent prayer, setting a peaceful and spiritual tone for everyone present. Under the capable leadership of Sister Lyra Balanquit, the flow of the program was smooth and engaging. The hymn singing, led by Sister Merlyn Cornillez, uplifted the congregation and invited the Spirit into the gathering.

A heartfelt and inspiring spiritual message was delivered by Sister Lyle Cabanday, reminding everyone of the importance of faith, obedience, and walking together with the Lord in our daily lives. Her talk encouraged both the youth and adults to strengthen their testimonies and continue choosing what is right.

One of the highlights of the activity was the Practice Dance from Japan for the RS Anniversary, which showcased cultural appreciation, coordination, and the sistersโ€™ dedication in preparing for the upcoming celebration. The performance brought joy and excitement to the audience and reflected the unity and talents within the organization.

Another informative part of the program was the Dishwashing Demonstration led by Sister Melinda Estonanto and Sister Sandra Talosig. The demonstration emphasized cleanliness, responsibility, and proper household practicesโ€”simple yet essential skills that promote order and health in our homes.

The activity concluded with a closing prayer given by invitation, leaving everyone with feelings of gratitude, motivation, and spiritual upliftment.

We are truly thankful to all the leaders, participants, and attendees who contributed their time, talents, and efforts to make this activity successful. May we continue to walk together in faith and support one another in strengthening our families and our community. ๐Ÿค
