"THE GOSPEL"
"Gospel na naman paulit-ulit na lang."
"Narinig ko na 'yan e, nakakasawa na."
"Hell? Di naman totoo 'yan, panakot lang 'yan e."

Marami ng tao ang kilala si JESUS- mga taong alam ang Christianity at kung ano ang Bible, but it is SAD to know na kahit narinig na nila ang mga ito, hindi parin nila malaman kung ano nga ba ang tunay nitong kahulugan- WHAT GOSPEL and CHRISTIANITY REALLY IS.
For some, GOSPEL IS JUST A MYTH, A LEGEND and AN OLD PLAYLIST THAT KEEPS ON PLAYING AND REPEATING- "pinagsasawaan na" kumbaga. BUT, for us CHRISTIANS, this is a TREASURE and A PEARL WHICH IS VERY PRECIOUS AND IMPORTANT that needs to be taken care of, shared and flaunted- "dahil ito ang kapangyarihan ng Diyos para iligtas ang LAHAT ng naniniwala kay Christ" (Romans 1:16 KJV).
โ What is Gospel?
Gospel means "GOOD NEWS" which talks about Christ and the way of salvation.
Now, to better understand the Gospel, we should know why itโs considered "good news"?
To know that, we must start with the bad news, because there will be no good news unless there is what we call "bad news". Right?
โ What is the Bad News?
Lahat naman tayo ay familiar sa "Fall"- 'yung time na nagkasala 'yung mga first parents natin knowing that SIN is disobedience to God's commands- "and they disobeyed God" (Genesis 3).
Dahil nagkasala ang isang tao, pumasok na rin sa mundo ang kasalanan, kasama nitong pumasok ang kamatayan (Romans 5:12) at ang kasalanan na rin ang naghiwalay sa atin sa Diyos (Isaiah 59:2).
"We were born in SIN, were conceived in SIN, we were born in the fallen world of SIN, and the ONLY thing we've ever known is SIN."
"We are not sinners because we SIN, but we SIN because we are sinners.
โช Men become slaves of SIN (John 8:34).
โช Men become the Enemy of God (Colossians 1:21).
โช Men become Evil. There is NO ONE who does good, not even one (Romans 3:10-18, Psalm 14:3).
Now, because WE are sinners, we are under a curse and our bodies are subjected to death. Kamatayan ang HATOL at KABAYARAN sa ating mga kasalanan (Romans 6:23a) and THERE'S NO EXEMPTION for ALL of us have sinned and fallen shortly to the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). We will die one day and after that we will face judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Each of us will give an account of ourselves to God (Romans 14:12).
Because God is Holy, He hates evil. Because God is a Righteous Judge, He cannot tolerate SIN. God will judge us by the Holiness of His Law and those who have sinned against Him will not just die physically but will be thrown to the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, the Second Death, the Everlasting Fire, a Damnation in Hell, for all ETERNITY!
HELL IS REAL AND WE'RE HEADING THERE!
โข There will be WEEPING and GNASHING of teeth - Matthew 13:42
โข Worms doesn't die and the Fire is NOT quenched - Mark 9:48
โข It is a place of TORMENT - Luke 16:23
โข It lasts FOREVER - Matthew 25:46
โข There will be NO Rest; Day or Night - Revelation 14:11
Hell is what we DESERVE, kahit AKO, dahil LAHAT tayo ay may itinatagong BAHO sa mga sarili natin, wala tayong maitatago sa Diyos, for He knows the secrets of our hearts (Psalm 44:21).
That is the BAD NEWS.
โ Paano po kaya tayo maliligtas sa tiyak na kapahamakan?
- By GOOD WORKS?
NO!
HINDI! Dahil kung mga mabubuting gawa ang pagbabasehan natin para maligtas tayo, edi WALANG MALILIGTAS, why?
Our good works were just "filthy rags" if we will compare it to God Himself, di tayo kayang iligtas ng basahan (Isaiah 64:6). We are not saved by doing good works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:9).
- BY THE LAW (10 COMMANDMENTS)
NO!
God's Law was given to Israel during the time of Moses (Deuteronomy 5:1). It serves as a measuring stick for sin, and that "SIN" is anything that falls short of the โperfectโ standard of the law.
In Romans 3:20, sinabi ni Paul na "Hindi nagiging matuwid sa harap ng Diyos ang kahit sino dahil sa pagsunod sa Law, kasi ang ginagawa ng Law, pinapaalam lang sa atin na nagkasala tayo."
โ We are all doomed now, is there any WAY para maligtas tayo?
YES!
Dito na papasok ang Good News- the Gospel itself.
Fortunately, GOD IS RICH IN MERCY. GOD IS FULL OF GRACE, at dahil sobrang MAHAL tayo ng Diyos, He provided a Savior. He gave us His ONLY begotten son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16).
โชJesus is fully God and fully Man (Philippians 2:6-7).
โชJesus fulfills the WHOLE Law (Matthew 5:17).
โชJesus commit NO SIN (1 Peter 2:22).
โชJesus lives a PERFECT LIFE.
โชJesus is INNOCENT.
YET, HE WAS CRUCIFIED.
Siya ay pinahirapan, pinarusahan, kinaladkad, hinubaran, dinuraan, pinagpasan ng krus, nagsuffer Siya ng 600+ open wounds, inendure Niya lahat nang yun, all the emotional torment, all the physical torment, all the embarassment, binilad si Jesus sa kahihiyan, yung mga nakikita niyong images sa church, MILD yan. Naging humble at obedient Siya hanggang kamatayan (Philippians 2:8) para maligtas tayo.
Namatay Siya para sa mga thieves, murderers, adulterers, fornicators, homosexuals, liars, criminals, gossipers, idolaters, blasphemers, sa LAHAT ng marurumi, unloving, unworthy, unmerciful, ungodly, unholy, unjust, unrighteous, undeserving, guilty, wretched at lahat ng klase ng MAKASALANAN.
Ganun na lang katindi yung bayad na ginawa Niya ONCE FOR ALL, kasi ganun rin katindi yung hatol, kasi sa TOTOO lang, HINDI natin kayang bayaran yung mga kasalanan natin, buhay Niya ang tanging kabayaran para sa mga kasalanan natin at yun na ang PINAKAMATAAS na posibleng maging bayad.
God treated Him as if He had commited EVERY SIN by EVERY PERSON who would ever BELIEVE in Him, when in fact He commited none of them. Siya ay ipinako and He died on the cross, on the place of Sinners. Kinuha Niya at dinala sa Krus lahat ng kasalanan, kahihiyan, karumihan at rebellion ng tao. Inako Niya lahat ng GALIT ng Diyos laban sa mga naniniwala at maniniwala sa Kaniya.
He did all these things;
โช To take away all our GUILTS.
โช To forgive us from all our SINS.
โช To pay the DEBT we couldn't pay.
โช To die the DEATH we should have died.
โช To save us from the SPIRITUAL DEATH.
โช To cleanse us from our INIQUITIES.
โช To set us free from being slave of SIN.
โช To GIVE US ETERNAL LIFE.
โช To RECONCILE us back to GOD.
โช To live NOT for ourselves, but to live for HIM.
And by the Power of God, He rose from the dead on the third day.
He conquered the grave, defeating sin, satan and death.
He resurrected, ascended to Heaven, and Live forever.
THIS IS THE GOSPEL!
โ Conclusion
The Gospel without HELL, without SIN, without Christ, without Him Crucified, without Him Resurrected is NOT a Gospel at all.
The Gospel is Jesus and Him Crucified on behalf of us. He was buried and resurrected from the dead on the third day, for us to be forgiven from our sins, for us to be saved on our way to Hell and have an Eternal Life as we Believe in Him.
Si Jesus lang ang DAAN (John 14:6) para maligtas tayo sa TIYAK na kapahamakan, He is our ONLY HOPE, aside from HIM, wala ng iba. Without JESUS, the WRATH OF GOD, will remain on us (John 3:36).
Ang Kaligtasan ay HINDI natin makukuha sa sarili nating pagsisikap at pamamaraan, ito ay libreng ibinigay ng Diyos sa atin (Romans 6:23b) dahil sa Kaniyang PAGMAMAHAL, Awa at Kagandahang-loob.
All you need to do is to Humble yourself before God, turn to God in REPENTANCE, BELIEVE and have FAITH in JESUS (Mark 1:15, Acts 20:21). Believe in the FINISHED WORK of JESUS on the cross, that He died on the cross to pay for your sins. He was buried and God resurrected Him from the dead on the third day, and God will grant you the Gift of Everlasting Life.
He will forgive you from your sins and give you a New Heart. For anyone who is in Christ is a NEW CREATION, the old has gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Live your NEW LIFE for CHRIST.
โชREPENT from all your sins EVERY SECOND OF YOUR LIFE.
โชREAD your Bible and OBEY what it says.
โชPRAY to GOD.
โชFind a Faithful Church that will HELP you to Grow Deeper in Faith.
โชKNOW JESUS more, be like JESUS.
โชSHARE the GOSPEL to others.
