We are beyond joyful to share some beautiful highlights from the unforgettable journey of our fellow youth—Richelle, Graciel, and Edgever—who represented our Parish Youth Apostolate under the Diocese of Tandag during the National Youth Day Càceres 2025 in Naga City last June 10–14! 🇵🇭✨ Surrounded by thousands of young Catholics from all over the country, they experienced the richness of our faith, culture, and community. It was truly a blessing for them to witness God's presence in every smile, every praise, and every word spoken during the sessions. One powerful quote from the talks still echoes in their hearts: “Sa kabataan, may pag-asa. Sa Diyos, may kasiguraduhan.” 🙌

Throughout the event, the joyful shout of "Viva El Divino Rostro!" and the warm welcome of “Mabalos tabi!” reminded them that the Church is alive, young, and full of love! 💛 These moments are not just memories but a mission—to bring the fire of faith back home and ignite others with the same passion for Christ. Let us continue to pray for our youth, that like Richelle, Graciel, and Edgever, they may always say yes to God's call with courage and joy. "An kabataan, paglaom kan Simbahan!" 🔥⛪

This Sunday morning, the faithful gathered in prayer at the 6AM Holy Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Forest Drive Village, presided over by Rev. Fr. Gamaliel P. Joyo. In a solemn and grace-filled celebration, the prayers of the people rose like incense, lifting hearts toward God.

Fr. Gamaliel offered a special blessing to our dedicated PPCRV volunteers as they prepare to serve in tomorrow’s election, answering the call to be instruments of truth and integrity. In honor of Mother's Day, all mothers were lovingly blessed—thanking God for their unwavering love and gentle strength.

Before the Mass concluded, a video guide was shown to help guide our parishioners in exercising their right to vote with discernment and faith.

May we carry the light of Christ into tomorrow’s election, and may peace, wisdom, and compassion prevail.

Loving God, as a mother gives life
and nourishment to her children,
so you watch over your Church.

Bless these women,
that they may be strengthened
as Christian mothers.

and love shine forth.

Grant that we, their sons and daughters,
may honor them always

MAY 1 | FEAST OF SAINT JOSEPH THE WORKER

The feast of St. Joseph the Worker was established by Pope Pius XII in 1955 in order to Christianize the concept of labor and give to all workmen a model and a protector. By the daily labor in his shop, offered to God with patience and joy, St. Joseph provided for the necessities of his holy spouse and of the Incarnate Son of God, and thus became an example to all laborers. "Workmen and all those laboring in conditions of poverty will have reasons to rejoice rather than grieve, since they have in common with the Holy Family daily preoccupations and cares" (Leo XIII).

PRAYER: O God, Creator of all things, who laid down for the human race the law of work, graciously grant that by the example of Saint Joseph and under his patronage we may complete the works you set us to do and attain the rewards you promise. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.

On Good Friday, the parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, led by Rev. Fr. Gamaliel P. Joyo, participated in a moving Via Crucis. United in faith and devotion, they prayerfully retraced the final journey of Jesus Christ, reflecting on His suffering and sacrifice.

This solemn procession served as a powerful meditation on Christ's Passion and Death, fostering a deeper understanding of His love, and inspiring repentance and hope in the hearts of all who participated.

The Via Crucis was a profound expression of communal faith and a testament to the enduring power of Christ's sacrifice.

Through Christ's suffering and death on the cross, humanity received redemption, a gift celebrated and reaffirmed through the profound act of veneration. The procession serves as a time for communal mourning and reflection on the sacrifice Jesus made for humanity. Participants often walk silently, meditating on the events of Jesus' crucifixion and the significance of his death. The procession is not merely a spectacle; it is a deeply spiritual experience for many participants.
