With joyful hearts and open arms, the community of St. Joseph the Worker Parish officially welcomes our new Parish Priest, ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ. ๐…๐ซ. ๐„๐ซ๐ข๐œ ๐„. ๐‹๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š, ๐ƒ๐‚๐“!

As a parish family, we thank the Lord for sending us a new shepherd to guide us, inspire us, and lead us closer to His divine heart. We pray that the Holy Spirit fills Fr. Eric with wisdom, strength, and joy as he begins his pastoral ministry here in our community.

The community of St. Joseph the Worker Parish gathered with hearts full of gratitude last June 2, 2026, to celebrate the 40th Presbyteral Ordination Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Gamaliel "Gammy" P. Joyo.

The anniversary celebration commenced with a solemn Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Gammy himself. Making the Eucharistic celebration even more meaningful, he was joined at the altar by Rev. Fr. Elpidio Pastera Jr. - the beloved previous parish priest who served the community before Fr. Gammyโ€™s assignment. Having both shepherds concelebrate the Mass together was a beautiful, grace-filled moment for the parishioners, symbolizing a continuous legacy of faith and dedicated leadership within the parish.

The celebration was doubly meaningful as parishioners also held a heartfelt farewell party for him. After years of devoted spiritual leadership, fatherly guidance, and love here in the parish, Fr. Gammy is set to begin a new chapter as the Resident Priest of Mother of Mercy Parish in Barobo.

While the parish family will deeply miss his presence, they rejoice with him in this milestone and send him off with prayers, love, and immense gratitude for the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

PART 2: PROGRAM PROPER

Following the spiritual nourishment of the mass, the energy shifted to the parish grounds for a festive program hosted by Sis. Alma Camino Saraus-Os. Bro. Esmeraldo Odtohan (Service-PPC Chairman) warmly welcomed the crowd, kicking off a series of dynamic morning intermission numbers from Zone 1 and Zone 2.

At noon, the community paused for a festive "Bring Your Own Position" (BYOP) Fellowship Lunch. The high energy continued well into the afternoon as parishioners of all ages joined in on interactive parlor games, community line dances, and a lively Zumba session. Creative showcases from Zones 3, 4, and 5 kept everyone smiling and cheering.

The celebration concluded with an inspiring pastoral message from Fr. Joyo, followed by the highly anticipated distribution of giveaways, "Bundles of Joy," and game prizes managed by the Temporality and Finance Councils. Bro. Edgar Gemao (Worship-PPC Chairman) closed the event by thanking the community for their overwhelming support.

Through prayer, laughter, and shared fellowship, the parishioners of SJTWP truly showed what it means to be a community ignited by the fire of the Holy Spirit!

PART I: HOLY MASS

The community of St. Joseph the Worker Parish came alive with spiritual fervor as parishioners gathered to celebrate Pentecost Sunday. The day-long event beautifully blended solemn liturgical devotion with lively community activities, embodying the true spirit of unity and joy.

The celebration commenced with a solemn Holy Mass presided over by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Gamaliel P. Joyo. A beautiful testament to parish collaboration, the liturgy was supported by the San Roque, BSL, and San Vicente Ferrer Chapels, alongside the moving melodies of the SJTW Parish Choir and the dedicated service of the Altar Server Ministry.

As we give thanks for years of faith, service, and community, we continue our journey as Pilgrims of Hope, united under the protection and example of St. Joseph the Worker.

Teach me to see in my fellow workers the Christ who desires to be in them, that I may always be charitable and forbearing towards all. Grant me to look upon work with the eyes of faith, so that I shall recognize in it my share in God's own creative activity and in Christ's work of our redemption, and so take pride in it.

When it is pleasant and productive, remind me to give thanks to God for it. And when it is burdensome, teach me to offer it to God, in reparation for my sins and the sins of the world.

O good father St. Joseph! I beg you, by all your sufferings, sorrows and joys, to obtain for me what I ask.
