The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila’s MWP (Ministry with PSDS – Persons in Street-Dwelling Situations) is appealing for support for our brothers and sisters in street-dwelling situations who are currently housed in our partner institutions and safe spaces.

As the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) intensifies Tropical Depression NENENG, with two other tropical cyclones being monitored both within and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the situation remains a concern for our vulnerable communities.

During this time, our priority is to help ensure that the PSDS already sheltered by our partner institutions have access to food, basic necessities, and essential care as they remain safe from the effects of the weather.

We are preferably accepting the following donations:
🍱 Ready-to-Eat Hot Meals
☕ Coffee and Milk
🍞 Bread
💊 OTC Medicines – for colds, cough, and fever
💰 Monetary Donations

Your generosity can help provide comfort, nourishment, and protection to our brothers and sisters who are already under the care of our partner institutions.

The 12:15pm Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Christopher Crucero, LRMS and the Farewell Rite for 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗮 was solemnly led by Rev. Fr. Reynante B. Balilo, OSA, Rector and Parish Priest of the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Consolación y Correa (San Agustin Church).

As she departs the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of San Lorenzo Ruiz, the beloved pilgrim image continues her visitation to churches across Manila.

With hearts full of joy and reverence, the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of San Lorenzo Ruiz community warmly welcomed the Pilgrim Image of 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗮, Queen and Patroness of the Walled City of Intramuros.

The image was received by the parishioners with gratitude. Rev. Msgr. Esteban Lo, LRMS, presided over the Welcoming Rites and the 5:00 pm Holy Mass, concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Reynante B. Balilo, OSA, Rector and Parish Priest of the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Consolación y Correa (San Agustin Church) and Rev. Fr. Sofronio C. Macabinlar, Jr., OSA.

May her visit bring consolation, peace, and deeper faith to all.
