The Baptism of the Lord marks the start of Jesusโ€™ public mission, revealing Him as the Beloved Son anointed by the Holy Spirit to bring light, healing, and salvation to the world.

This feast also honors St. John the Baptist, the prophetic Forerunner whose mission began in the womb when he leaped for joy at the Visitation, eventually "preparing the way" by leading others to the Jordan to meet their Savior. By stepping into the water with sinners, Jesus shows His radical humility and invites us to look back at our own baptism, where we were claimed as God's children.

Today, we are called to renew our baptismal promises, rejecting sin and embracing our identity as beloved sons and daughters sent to carry Christโ€™s light into the world.

During the Misa de Gallo, our Parish Youth Ministry, under the guidance of our Parish Priest and Youth Director, Rev. Fr. Jaime F. Quinto Jr., organized a lugaw fundraising drive. The proceeds were dedicated to a gift-giving mission held on the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord (January 04, 2026) for the four barangays within our parish. Through this initiative, we were able to extend Christโ€™s love to the "last, least, and lost" of our community.

We express our deepest gratitude to the parishioners who supported us, proving that the true essence of Christmas lies in generosity. Like the Magi who traveled far to offer their treasures to Jesus, may we also find life's purpose by offering our best to others, even in the briefest encounters with Christ.

On November 12, 2025, the Jesus The Nazarene Parish extends grace by having a Eucharistic celebration in Basing Riverside, Binmaley, Pangasinan in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is annually celebrated from October to November as part of their devotion to the Blessed Mother. The Mass also touched the hearts of the devotees as Rev. Fr. Jaime "Jimmy" Quinto Jr. explained the very essence of faith through the intercession of the Blessed Mother, and how Mama Mary encourages us to convert from our sins.

LOOK| The Ministry of Altar Servers of Jesus The Nazarene Parish activity participated in the Archdiocesan Altar Servers' Updating Seminar 2025 at VMUF Event Center in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

23rd of August 2025, the Archdiocesan Altar Servers' Updating Seminar for Altar Servers was a powerful event at the VMUF Event Center in San Carlos City, bringing together dedicated young people from Jesus the Nazarene Parish and other churches.

Under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Joseph Fernandez, the participants deepened their understanding of their vital roles and responsibilities during the liturgy. They didn't just learn about serving on the altar, but they explored the profound meaning behind the Mass and their part in making it a truly sacred experience, all while actively participating with faith and devotion.

The lessons didn't stop at the church doors. The seminar also focused on how these young servers are called to live their faith outside of Mass, bringing their service and devotion into their daily lives. It was a beautiful reminder that being an altar server is a commitment that extends far beyond the sanctuary, it's about living a life of service to God and others. This event truly equipped them to not only serve with excellence inside the church but also to be shining examples of faith in their community.โœจ
