Ash Wednesday will be observed on February 18, 2026, marking the beginning of the Lenten season. On this sacred day, we are invited to pause from our daily routines and enter a time of prayer, fasting, repentance, and spiritual renewal. As we receive ashes on our foreheads, we are reminded of our human frailty and our need for God’s mercy and grace.

⏱️Schedule: 6:30 AM, and 6:00 PM
📍Location: San Roque Parish

Lent is a journey of reflection and conversion of heart. It is a time to turn away from sin, forgive others, deepen our faith, and strengthen our relationship with God through acts of charity and sacrifice. May this season inspire us to live with humility, compassion, and renewed purpose.

“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

Let us begin this holy season with sincere hearts and a desire to grow closer to God.

As part of the preparations for the upcoming Ash Wednesday, you may start bringing your old palm fronds (palaspas) from the previous Palm Sunday to the Parish Office.

These will be burned on Martes De Miserere (Tuesday of Mercy) February 17, 2026 and used for Ash Wednesday on February 18, 2026.
