Almighty God, Lord of the universe, Creator of everything, we come to You, seeking Your divine protection as we face our fears
and confront the threats that cause us anxiety

After every invocation let us say: “𝘿𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙑𝙀𝙍 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙋𝙀𝙊𝙋𝙇𝙀 𝙇𝙊𝙍𝘿”.

From strong typhoons
From relentless rains
From destructive earthquakes
From drought and pests
From deadly floods and storm surges
From red tides and fish kills
From deadly lightning
From violence and wars
From corruption and sin
From criminality and terrorism
From selfishness and indifference

Leader: Divine Jesus, You calmed the storms and walked over the waters. Give us fine weather. Shield us from distress. Drive away from our land all calamities and disasters of nature. We entrust ourselves to You now and forever. Amen.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐎𝐐𝐔𝐄 | 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟏𝟔

As we celebrate the Feast of our beloved patron, San Roque, the Ministry of Altar Servers of San Roque Parish joins the entire parish community in honoring a life dedicated to faith, service, and compassion.

San Roque (St. Roch) was a Christian pilgrim who devoted his life to helping those suffering from the plague. He cared for the sick and, according to tradition, even healed many through his prayers and compassion. When he himself became ill, he withdrew into the forest, where a dog faithfully brought him bread and stayed by his side.

His life reminds us of the importance of serving others, especially those who are suffering and in need.

As altar servers, we can look to San Roque as an example of what it means to serve with a willing and humble heart. Like San Roque, we are called not only to serve during the Holy Mass, but also to show kindness, patience, compassion, and love toward others.

Every time we approach the altar, we are reminded that our service is ultimately offered to God. May the example of San Roque inspire every altar server to serve with reverence, discipline, humility, and joy, both inside and outside the church.

May San Roque guide us in our ministry and help us become faithful servants of God and His people.

On this special feast, we pray for our parish, our families, our fellow altar servers, and all those who are sick and in need of healing.

Serving at the altar is more than fulfilling a duty—it is walking closely with Christ through every prayer, movement, and act of reverence. Each step we take reminds us of the grace He continuously pours into our lives.

May our service always reflect humility, faith, and the presence of God in all that we do.

“Every great servant begins with a humble heart willing to learn.” ✨

Today marks the First Formation of our Aspirant Altar Servers — a meaningful step in their journey of faith, discipline, and service to God and the Church. May this formation inspire them to serve with reverence, dedication, and love.

This formation was led by our Senior Altar Servers, Bro. Reign Symoun Santillan and Sis. Jasmine Andrea Ramirez, whose dedication and willingness to guide our aspirants truly reflect the spirit of service. 💙

With hearts full of devotion and a spirit of readiness, they embrace God’s call to serve with reverence, commitment, and love.

May this step deepen their faith and inspire them to remain steadfast in their service to the Lord and His Church.

With grateful and joyful hearts, we warmly welcome our newly invested altar servers. Their investiture marks the beginning of a sacred responsibility—to serve with reverence, humility, and love at the Lord’s altar.

Through their dedication and formation, they have answered God’s call, becoming witnesses of faith and examples to others, especially the youth. May their service draw them closer to God and inspire many to follow His path.
